这种问题很明显都是非常不专业的，如果不是违法的。可是这种问题一般都是口头问，
而不是书面问。所就即使是不专业或者违法，你也没有办法（除非你录音而且准备花时
间经历和资源去打一场我认为绝大数人都不大愿意去打的官司）。另外，如果你不回答
，他们可能不会给你投票。所以作为申请者来说这确实是个很头疼的问题。
我的建议是你可以根据这种问题来判断这个地方的氛围和文化。如果只有偶尔一两个人
问这种问题，可能是问问题的人不了解这些，他／她问这些纯属好奇；如果一个地方有
不少人都问这些不专业的问题 （年龄，婚姻，家庭状况等），那么你就要小心了。这
说明这个地方的氛围和文化就是这样，你在这个地方以后的发展，升职也会遇到这种不
专业的处理。如果是后者；而且如果你也有多个选择（offers），那么尽量避免这种不

加州。有三个问题上来问问。谢谢！
1. 不搬出去申请离婚的可行性. 律师说date of separation会很难鉴定。还是建议搬
出去。
2. 我想要孩子的physical custody主要归我，那么必须让他和我一起搬出去。过了几
个月后，有了新的status quo, 法官会在尽量不影响孩子目前状态的方针下，判孩子大
多数时间跟我住。那么我带孩子搬出去以后需要向法院申请什么文件吗？否则被反咬一
口说是绑架？sorry， 忘了问律师了。
3.律师说一旦separation申请交上去过了六个月，就算还有很多unresolved issue, 法
院也会判你一个single的status。未解决完的事宜可以继续慢慢谈。那么很多离婚案件
拖了很久，是不是就拖在慢慢谈这个步骤？还是从file for separation到法院判你新
的marital status本身就可以拖很久？
