很多微生物或油料作物，会积累油脂形成lipid body，细胞膜表面上的lipid只是很少
一部分。
这些lipid body上面结合了不少蛋白。lipid body主要是甘油三酯（TAGs）啥的。不知
道对你有帮助没？

involved in regulating cell signaling by interacting with lipid-binding
domains, such as phosphatidylserine, PtdIns(4)P, PtdIns(3)P, PtdIns(4,5)P2,
PtdIns(3,5)P2, PtdIns(3,4,5)P3. Is it correct or I put some wrong lipid here?
Also how about phosphatidylcholine and phosphatidylethanolamine? Are they
also functional in that way? Or they are just component lipid in memebrane?

很好的留在淋巴结里，主要是macrophage的uptake，初步试验似乎是albumin和这些
lipids高度亲和，将它们带至淋巴结，但是albumin是如何转运这些lipids到
macrophage的呢？如果是nonspecific cell membrane insertion, 似乎淋巴结里其他
的细胞（B，T，Cells）因该也会分一杯羹。我的问题是：一般说来，lipids或者是
fatty acids是如何被lymph node macrophage 捕获的？有没有cell-surface receptor
在macrophage细胞表面？多谢，我不是学生物的。 |

Your LDL is near optimal, ideally < 100.
Your HDL is within normal range (40-60).

greatly interferences the UV/Vis absorbance at very wide range.
I found a paper that used densitometry with a software (ImageQuant) to
determine the membrane bound protein concentration. Does anyone know how

，所以lipid droplet会很亮。如何亮呢？普通的显微镜不用开光源，lipid droplet也
会比背景的细胞亮很多也就很容易看到了。做过脂肪细胞分化的人就会明白，pre-
adipocytes放在显微镜上，不开光源，什么也看不到除了死细胞或者细胞残片。
adipocytes放在显微镜上，不开光源，lipid droplet看的一清二楚。这个图片的所有
结构一样亮，所以那个泡状结构里面是水不是油。还有一个就是感觉了。lipid
droplet有种饱满的质感，这个看起来像是个vacuole之类的东西。 |

Mike Snyder 91年在Science上发了一篇牛文（第一作者是中国人），用protein array
做protein和lipid interaction。发现了100多个lipid binding protein，据说很多人
重复不了，而且这些蛋白中也确实没有发现常见的lipid binding domain。但最近Mark
Lemmon在Cell上发表了一篇牛文，对其中62个的蛋白进行了验证，发现大多数蛋白都可以和lipid结合，而且还发现了一个新lipid binding domain。 |

是30以上的。如果只有这么低的impact factor，我觉得，这样的文章是不会被well

从有机化学来讲我谈谈对作者所设计实验的看法。

宋的博士学位在中科院拿的，在us做了3-4 年postdoc。宋在us 待的时间太短，对美国
博士培养体制和科研体制先进之处了解得可能不够。一同面试院长的有几个candidate
文章比宋好。武大可能是看到宋在中科院当个官，搞个管理就把it请过来了。武大应该
找一个在美国拿个PhD，然后在us 做postdoc后海归的当院长。
宋自己的科研做得很好，但对宋领导一个院做出像样的改革，大幅提高整个院科研水平
不太看好。

发帖数: 499 | 44 正好我也遇到过这个问题，我觉得还是你的甲醇和录放的质量有问题，可能是在实验室
放久了，吸了水，如果可能的还是去买新的吧，但是如果你将配好的2;1的溶液放几天
的话，它又会变clear了。我刚开始提lipid 是在冬天，天气很干燥，一切顺利，可是
到了第二年春天开始，提取时总出问题，最后提出来的lipid 用N2吹干的时候，刚开始
还是清的，到要干的时候就变混浊了，很难吹干，那应该就是水份，所以我估计是到了
春天空气湿度很大，试剂也很容易吸水。
我交你一个绝招就是提取的lipid放在冰箱中冻一夜，第二天拿出来时候你就会发现最
上面漂着一层水滴，将水滴吸掉，就是在纯有机溶剂中的lipid了 |

Step3考场壮烈回来。第一天挺累人，最后一个block甚至做到有心无力状，看着题反应
不过来，导致来不及做完。非常没有信心能否通过。所以match之前先考Step3的童鞋，
需要考前调整生物钟，坚持锻炼，提高耐力。
MCQ没有资格说，CCS有一点小感受，拿出来分享下。大家请轻拍砖。
复习资料：
UW 52 online cases : 基础。最好复习早起找高手一起过一遍，尽快摸熟软件，进入
状态。第二遍找一位水平相近童鞋过一遍，不断总结protocol. 考前迅速做一遍，熟练
运用protocol.
UW 41 offline cases: 我当时和partner每个case仔细做一遍，虽然不像online有反馈
，但对练临床思维，补充protocol非常有帮助。最后考试与41 case有异曲同工之处，
遇到复杂case也不慌神。
