发帖数: 1283 | 1 7/24, 中午到Aspen，还没拿到apartment钥匙，把包放办公室里，换鞋换衣服带水带墨
镜，直奔Aspen mountain而去。Aspen海拔7900 ft，Aspen山顶的ski lift海拔11,200
ft, Aspen mountain road大约5迈的土路，爬升3300尺。在城里的平路上跑起来就马上
感觉大不一样，jogging pace，呼吸象跑tempo一样。到了trail上爬坡时腿都软了，10
分钟之内乳酸堆积就非常厉害，在15％的坡上只能走，走走又跑，跑跑又走，心想这么
陡的破，下来就要废了。爬着爬着发现头顶上的ski lift正在运转，心想太好了，到了
顶上可以乘ski lift下去。爬了一个多小时终于到顶，心想这可能是爬坡最狠的一次了
，虽然只有5迈已经觉得可以call it a day。ski lift的工作人员说, "you hiked up,
you earned it!" 原来乘lift下去是免费的，爽！

1. Niseko has three areas, Hirafu, Village, and Annupuri, ranging from
largest to smallest. The total skiable areas combined are about the size of
Northstar, so not that big. Elevation is not that high, about 1300m or 5000

cross the ski areas at the top of the mountain, or take shuttles.

达。按当地人说法，在Whistler的阴影下，华盛顿州没有Destination Resort，却有几
个相当不错的Ski Area。Summit就是其中之一，或者说其中之四。The Summit事实上是
由I-90洲际公路山口Snoqualmie Pass附近的四个独立小雪场合并而成，也就是如今的
Summit West, Summit Central, Summit East (aka Hyak)和Alpental，合并后的雪场
面积有2000+ acre，有免费班车连接。
四处雪场中，落差2200ft的Alpental地形最复杂，同时在后山也有大量的Backcountry
Terrain，前年后山雪崩有几名Expert Skier就在那里长眠。Alpental一般开放的比较

道高手去滑雪得等到春节前后了。Alta Beginner Day Pass, Sunnyside lift +
Cecret lift, $35。 别看是beginner lift，Sunnyside绿蓝黑都有，还可以穿树林。
而且lift的速度快，比Brighton的beginner lift (Majestic Lift）快好多，这意味着
你在chair上的时间少，在snow上的时间多。
这两天我是说snowshoeing，就是在snow-covered trail上hiking。没有滑雪的速度，
应该很安全。怎么样，要不要去snowshoeing? |

The snow storm yesterday dumped well over 20 inches of fresh snow on the

发帖数: 317 | 32 羞涩的给大家一个update，发帖后滑了6天，现在能跳起来转半圈了，但是不一定能降
落，运气好的时候能落下来继续滑……一半机会会摔。。。所以不算会跳吧。anyway但
是想想当时因此开始滑单板的梦想算是看到了曙光～还是很开心滴
板上众多高手发攻略，我就来讲讲菜鸟的心路历程吧。
发帖子之前在去年雪季大概一共滑过4天还是5天，用的租的东西。今年忽然脑子一热有
了想跳的梦想，发了帖子后看到这位给的三四十天的鼓励，于是决定认真滑单板，发奋
一下，别人送了一个134cm的儿童板（你没看错……），自己东淘西淘凑了双靴子借了
个头盔买了个便宜手套，穿着羽绒服带着墨镜（你真的没看错）就去滑去了。然后一月
元旦那个周末滑了2天，鼓足勇气上了蓝道，滚了若干山坡。非常有挫败感，瞬间把发
奋忘到爪哇国去了。直接休息了一个月。
2月初又忍不住去滑了2天，还在跟转弯做艰苦斗争（去年用租的板子会拐弯，今年换了

小妾stock 就很可以玩玩了，俺最多搞3inch lift，不搞变态胎。车小，特别适合东部
越野。林子路都特窄
4runner 问题是前面不大好lift，现在纠结要不要上bilstein 5100 shocks。 不lift
或换弹簧就经常前面托底，好在装了全套钢板。现在又用来接娃，考虑safety，不太敢
lift。 看啥时候不用它来接娃就可以猛搞 |
