Women have different experiences hitching lifts, I know some who hitch hike
a lot. There are good precautions you can take.
Two women hitching together, or a man and a woman are unlikely to get
trouble.
If alone, you could let him see you photograph his numberplate with a smart
phone and send it to a friend.
Solo female hitchers can ask for lifts in somewhere like a gas station
restaurant, where there are lots of witnesses. Anyone offering a lift is
asked their name in front of everyone, so lots of people will recall their
face. Anyone dodgy will not be interested.
A handful of sand in your pocket is good self defence. A guy with sand in
his eyes will lose all thoughts of rape.
I have also given lifts to elderly women who are hitching. In many countries
it's considered normal. |

说实话，有些人如果真的有困难，我愿意配合帮助他们。只是有时候有些地方恐怕没有
手机信号。
