the most awesome athlete in the world of ultra-endurance. Check out Scott

runners will tell you that in running, they feel the touch of God. It is

f*******n 发帖数: 5241 | 10 I like Dean. I've read several books of his. Probably because he is an
ultra runner, he does not have the typical thin build of a marathon runner.
"He goes to the gym for muscle strengthening workouts. If he can not make
it to the gym, he does 4 sets of 50 pull-ups and 4 sets of 90 push-ups—once
in the morning and once in the evening." Now that's the kind I like. :)

w****1 发帖数: 4931 | 12 Ultra runners come in different body shapes. Dean is into many different
sports. The very best ultramarathoners, such as Josh Cox and Scott Jurek,
are not muscle man like Dean. In fact, Dean has been beaten in badwater by a
skinny woman, Pam Reed (although she doesn't have Dean's muscles, of course
, she is tough as nails).

f*******n 发帖数: 5241 | 13 I thought it was because he does not need to go as fast as he could and he
needed some reserves for the ultra long runs. So it has more to do with
weight training (duh!). Nonethelss I like his kind better.

w****1 发帖数: 4931 | 17 In a race, you give your best. Dean knows how to push his body to its limit
as much as any other top
ultramarathoners. In western states 100-miler, one of the most famous
ultraendurance events in the world,
Dean's best finish is #4. Scott Jurek has won it, yes, WON IT, 7 times. Dean
possibly has the best body among
ultramarathoners. But the impressive physique isn't a requisite of elite
level performance.
In fact, few ultramarathoners care what their body look like. Ultramarathoners understand t |

fastest racket game in the world - 是世界上最完美的sports。
求而让人feel the touch of god.

b*********a 发帖数: 1145 | 24 I believe this! that's why those people can achieve something which is
impossible for human beings to achieve!
Most serious runners will tell you that in running, they feel the touch of
God. It is very, very true. |
|
Duh! |
|
|
e****f 发帖数: 3393 | 27 You didn't get my point.
run. |
|

Running is God is love! |
|

4931 | 44 LOL. I'm an atheist as well. But I tell ya, when I rode my bike up
independence pass at 12,000 ft last summer,
when I was running at mile 45 in Nevada this January, I felt, without a
shadow of a doubt, the touch of God.:) |

有时候我还能感觉the touch of evil呢...
