段的objection处理,到jury instruction,极端情况还可以推翻jury的决定,最后的s
entence。法官对最后结果的影响才是决定性的。jury nullification的情况其实很罕见
。
你列举的这些措施美国的司法系统都有,而且实行了上百年了,就是用来监督法官和法

罪名成立,要么无罪释放,属于全/无模式;有别的州jury可以判比被告被控罪名轻的
罪行,比如说GZ这个案件里,在佛州jury只能选择二级谋杀成立或者无罪释放,在别的
州比如德州,jury除了这两个选项外,还可以根据控辩双方的证据判被告manslaughter。
注意我们这里没有考虑这个案例的细节情况,不是说GZ存在manslaughter的可能性。 |

只有高学历的, 尤其是老中, 胆小如鼠, 收到了call被上面几句话恐吓几句就吓蔫了.
别说老黑了. 我老板自称他收到jury call, 前两封都是直接丢掉, 直道第三封以后才
开始扯皮.
我avoid jury call的时候, 带了全套的证明, 儿子的出生公证什么的, 亲自跑去法院(
信上要求必须personal), 到了以后才发现, 煞笔冤大头除了我还有2个老中和一个东欧
的, 其他人都是fax or mail. |

去。一般送grand jury的案子,都是显然有审理意义的,所以才有99%的通过比例。

This proves the lawyer for Officer Liang is either an idiot or working with
the prosecution.
All he needed to do at grand jury was to cite this precedence and have
Officer Liang cry about how he guilt ridden he felt, and was looking for his
more senior partner for support after shooting, it would probably have
convinced the jury that it was an accident.
Instead, he advised Liang to not appear in front of Grand jury, and
obivously didn't cite the precedence. |

An election integrity watchdog group is suing the state of Maryland,
alleging that it has discovered massive and ongoing fraudulent voting by non
-U.S. citizens in one county. But because of the way that the non-citizens
are able to cast votes in elections, the fraud is likely happening in every
single county and subdivision across the state. The group believes that the

from the Cooperative Congressional Election Study, indicated that 6.4
percent of all non-citizens voted illegally in the 2008 presidential
election, and 2.2 percent in the 2010 midterms.
Given that 80 percent of non-citizens lean Democratic, they cite Al Franken
’s 312-vote win in the 2008 Minnesota U.S. Senate race as one likely tipped
by non-citizen voting.
