but it is for sure that they are doing what they do for their own benifit
not for any player. Phil ivey is not asking 150 mil for the players, but for
himself.
Here is the bottom line. The fact that ftp has cash flow issues makes ivey'
s lawsuit more of a problem for ftp to pay out the US players. Ivey is not
helping with the us players in any way even though he claims that. On the

有意思的。preflop那些open raise/limp的，除了Ivey没有一个敢call Dwan的3-bet。
而Ivey和Dwan在preflop call 3-bet的几率就很大，不太在意手里的牌，有那种靠post
flop定胜负的勇气。
这手牌如果Ivey在flop上raise可能比较好，但实战那种结果也不能说玩错了。虽说
durrr sense到Ivey的range里应该没有很强的牌，但那种3 barrel的勇气实在令人钦佩
。他的river bet差不多是60% pot，绝对值更吓人，比起那个Elezra在Poker after
dark曾经做过的一个3 street bluff要牛多了（Elezra flop check-raise, turn bet,
最后river只敢bet了1/4还是1/5的pot，被durrr用底对一对3接下来了）。 |

does not like?? pure speculation, it could be like FTP needs to raise
capital and potential investors propose cutting down all this bullshit huge
amount of money some red pros like Ivey are receiving, or the proposed deal

based on the info from 2p2, Ivey wants out of the non-compete clause. that is pretty

so is Eli Eliza. they got paid for the buyin of the event if they wear FTP
logo. These guys show diginity and self esteem for what FTP are doing toward

certainly hurts our chances of getting money back from ftp quite a bit.
However, I really don't think he's doing it for the money, there is no way
he can get that 150M from ftp even if he wins the lawsuit. If USA court can
enforce the 150M on ftp from this lawsuit, then DOJ can certainly enforce
their huge fine first, and if that's the case, ftp goes to bankruptcy long

I am pure speculating, but the chance of phil did not do this for himself is
<1% and I am being nice. I don't know why he did this. maybe he wanted to
distant himself from ftp to avoid being questioned from doj? Maybe ftp
stopped paying the pros their millions every year in their endorsement? maybe he does not want to get shot by some poker player who lost their whole bankroll?

ivey obviously knows a lot of inside of FTP than we do. he released this
statement just to distance himself from FTP. looks like there are good
chance FTP will file bankruptcy soon. Boy, I logged in FTP once last week

quit FTP. Most FTP proes still wear FTP logo, it seems FTP still pay a
lot of money for this WSOP since these proes get paid for doing that.
No matter what Ivey's intention is , FTP was in a big mess before
Ivey's announcement, even before BF. Their accounting has been really
screwed up just nobody knew until BF.

breaks out like this, the chances u.s. players can get $ back are even more
unlikely.
if he's indeed a big stake holder (money-wise, fame-wise, whatever) of FTP,
this only proves that even for a guy like him who got no control of the
whole situation and doesn't know what to do at all (instead of pointing
fingers)... then within FTP, it must be a huge mess right now AND they admit
they don't have enough funds.

1) ftp is not going to or able to pay u.s. players any time soon (otherwise
he wouldn't need to stir this bs now);
2) yeah, he wants to cut his ties with ftp. if any lawsuits surface, he
doesn't want to be caught or at least try to control the damage;
3) he wants to maintain his "innocence" in the poker community, but come on,
he knows way much more than we do, but he acts like he's one of us who just

endorsement come from, he may have assumed it ALL come from FTP's legitimate
profit and thus feels he's completely innocent of any guilt and not happy
about "My name and reputation have been dragged through the mud", so he sue.
However, I don't think he's given any serious consideration about whether
suing FTP now would actually help U.S. players get their money back.
