情况是这样的：
国内学的护理专业，毕业后在国内一家医院的医技科室悠闲地工作了将近10年。那时候
怎么也没想到过要来美国。命运就是在一瞬间转变的。我遇到了在国内度假的现在的老
公，于是我的生活从此改变。09年结婚后，2010年1月移民来的美国。自己相对还算独
立，来美国后想继续工作，所以借着国内的护理教育背景在去年8月考过了美国RN（注
册护士）执照、找到了工作，自己曾暗自庆幸，甚至觉得没有传说中异国他乡生存的艰
难不易。
上班之后才发现，生活是没有捷径的，所有异国生活需要走的路、经历的艰辛是无法避
免的。第一份工作很容易找到一家私立医院的CVOR（心脏手术室），那时觉得一切是
too perfect to be true,但工作1个月后，招我进来的manager就走了，加上自己是唯
一的外国人，而且语言确实有问题，心里真的很发虚，有一种深更半夜独自在荒郊野外
走地感觉，很不舒服，就quit掉了。
我对自己的语言能力真的很不自信，因为我从来就不会把一个完整的故事绘声绘色的讲

associate, 他老人家
跪在地上帮我找了很久，也没找到。问我另外一种加带喷头的要不要，我说不要，这个
要贵很多（光
spike 87 cent, 带喷头要2块多）。他又问我要几支，我说10支吧。他就开始把带喷头
的喷头拆下
来，把spike给我。拆了三支我有点不好意思，我就说三支够了，别拆了。他以为我急
着要走了，也不
拆了，直接就找了10支给我，然后写了个便条: all spikes adjust to 87 cents. 让
我交给

my grey water collection system (sand filter, 4 x 500 gallon fiberglass in
ground tank, a few pumps), only shower and rain water is collected (not from
kitchen or toilet). I use them to feed into drip irrigation system for my
vegetable gardens and sprinkler systems to water my lawn.
I do not waste anything even I have my water well.
You can treat more grey water if you want to, but I do not have time to mess

figure out how to irrigate water into the sump pit. Putting in the sump pump
itself is easy but then hooking up the pipes is a lot of work as well. You
need
to cut a hole in your wall so that the pipe can go out of the basement.
