-inventor if your boss is nice and considerate and so choose. Apparently, it
was not the case here and perhaps he/she had a reason for that. If I were
you, I would approach him/her and say that I would be grateful if I was
included as a co-inventor because it would help me in my future professional
career (new faculty position). You can do this |

具体情况说清楚。谁是不是inventor是有规章的，如果搞错了专利会无效。另外

Unless you have new stuff done at the place of your Post-Doc that you can
apply for patent, and in that case the patent belongs to the post-doc school
. You and your post-doc boss are co-inventor.

绝大部分专利，尤其是学校里申请的专利最后都是没有经济利益的。所以加进别的
inventor完全不会损害你的利益，而且还可以增进感情。就算是最后能卖钱的专利，买
了几十万，学校拿大头，你再和所有inventor分，多加几个人你也就是损失个几千，万
把块钱的事，远不如以后多几个挺你的人。
当然，要是你这个专利是个billion dollar idea另说。就算这样，只要你老板不打算
整你，在这种情况下他的利益也是和你一致的，他自然会把不相关的人从专利里去掉。
要知道，老板对这些事情的经验多半比你多，视野也比你宽，他的决定多半是对你也是
利益最大化的。所以只要能肯定老板不是在故意整你，专利署名上听他的多半没错

inventor也不过是引专利时候谁放前面的问题，贡献是不区分的，权力和义务也是。
但是专利发明人和所有者不是一个概念，一般学校已经让你填了assignment agreement
了，你把所有权assign个了assignee学校，那么等专利被卖的时候，你的权利就得看你
当时写的这个agreement了 |

刚看了下autodesk inventor，pro的价格在2000.真是比鬼ViaCAD方便100倍啊。准备先
用inventor看看。以后有钱了需要买正版的时候也负担的起。可怜为了支持正版，白白
浪费了无数个夜晚 plus $150 hard earned money. |

这么便宜？这个跟Solidworks是一个档次的，据说偏向制造业，但是出来的晚，市场被

after deducting patent cost. The university usually evaluates the patent
situation carefully and does extensive search before deciding to file a
regular case.
Inventors for companies don't get anything except for a bonus, usually
between 2000 to 4000. But one can have many patents each year so it balances
out. It is not uncommon to have over 30 patents under your name after a few
years if you are in the right group. |

起贡献一个claim。理论上来说，一个人如果没有贡献的话，那是不能列上去的。至于
排名，因为不牵涉到legal right，我们通常不会深究，申请人给的顺序怎样，我们递
交的时候就按怎样的顺序，只要所有发明人确实都对权利要求有贡献。至于申请人内部
是不是有关于排名的约定，这个不是我们关心的。
另外，每个国家的专利法不一样，中国的发明人排序是否牵涉到其它问题我不了解。国
内的经验搬到美国不一定适用。 |

士期间的group和一个大的业内公司的协议，patent上只有公司和公司的代表的名字，
没有我们group任何人的名字，请问如何证明自己的贡献？
现在可能的“证据”就是patent和paper内容很相近，patent的唯一的inventor（来自
工业界）是我那篇paper的co-author（因为我毕业后paper才提交出来，我是二作，她
是三作）。这种情况下找那个inventor写推荐信证明贡献，请问有必要么？ |

找商业化受益方的老总给你写推荐信，讲这个商业化的产值，产线和经济效益，这个被
商业化的product相比同类产品有那种优势
如果有co-inventor 找co-inventor写信详细说明这个idea, experiment, patent
application, commercialization你都作为equivalent contributor一一参与了。

公司已经在用了，而且每年我作为co-inventor还能收到一笔钱。
这种的话可以算contribution吗，我是工程类专业而且做得东西挺偏应用的，不知道怎
么样从这方面挖掘下亮点。

今天早晨正式拿到的permit，简直爽得不得了，可以正式开工了。忙活了几个月，终于
拿到了。自己设计的所有图纸，比请别人设计出图省了好几千块，这个房屋加建项目涉
及到新的两层的房屋结构以及对既有结构的改造，比盖一个新房子的设计还复杂一些。
自恃已经是民用房屋结构设计的专家了。说不定将来失业了，可以依次为生呢！

暂时还没和LG说这事，想先问问大家的看法。
我和LG是相亲认识的，两人都不年轻了，谈了两个月，觉得彼此应该是可以过一辈子的
人，就结婚了。一个人生活太久，突然有一个人一起过日子，还真有些不习惯，尤其是
睡觉的时候。LG属于作息很规律的人，一般十点钟就睡觉，十分钟不到就能睡得很熟，
过了一会儿就开始打呼噜。而我则属于睡觉不能被吵的那种，旁边有声音我就很难睡着
。开始的时候不好意思打扰LG，我就玩电脑玩到十二点左右，让自己累了犯困，一倒下
就睡着。但这招不是次次都管用，有时候躺下了听着声音我就开始失眠。
后来我也和LG提了他打呼噜的事，想让他去看看医生，LG认为这不是啥大毛病，就没去。
我这几天一直没睡好，就想先和LG分房睡，把隔壁的屋子收拾一下放张床，但不知道该
怎么和LG说比较好。我很担心这结婚没到一个月就分开睡，他会不会有什么想法？

The patent was submitted on April 1 (joke was intended)
The application is an application and there is no grant.
I believe there is plenty of prior-art in patent trolling, so it will never
get granted.
A system where the original inventor has to be present to defend work is un-
workable and impractical anyway. As an example, I have about 30 patents for
which I'm listed the inventor -- they were all done in the cause of my job

人。事实是王因该是inventor而马只不过是co-inventor。If we let the matter go,

prize. Unfortunately, there is no such a thing as "review" in Nobel Prize as
in NFL so I urge you to share your idea as how we can help to secure Dr.
