其实也是招募一些网络设计投稿并从中抽成的主。如果您公司实力不错，看一下当地的
设计公司，比较几家，这样您可以interveiw 设计师，看到设计过程并要求设计过程的
presentaiton。网上很多垃圾，好一点的也都是给您一个"eye candy", not much
meaning imbedded. 当然，也有好的吧，得碰吧。 |

国时间短，考虑到递签是要寄送到广州然后再寄回来，所以现在犹豫是否能够改为北京
面签？已经交完签证费了，但是网上的系统只有在缴费后才能查看available
interveiw的时间。。。几个问题:
1. 我缴的费用是递签的，是否需要再次缴费改为面签？
2. 面签大概多长时间能拿回passport和visa？如果被check呢？

收到纸质通知，上面列了面试时需要带的材料，其中一项是体检表格 I-693。我两年前
提交的体检表格应该已经过期，不知道要不要重新体检，提交新的表格？版上的朋友有

有什么pardon, sorry之类的，另外回答的问题也都回答出来了。基本是回
答他们的问题，我就问了他们一个关于新加坡签证的问题，他们回答说也没问
题。
今天我大学导师找我，问我是不是申请了新加坡的工作了，因为有人找他要
recommendation letter。
想问一下是新加坡效率高还是说明interveiw进展不错，已经进入下一阶段？
如果进入了，一定会有onsite interview吗？ |

interviewer和公司里其他人套近乎, 而忘了be professional. 另外问了很多没有挑战
性的问题, 估计让人家感到我很幼稚...面后也没有积极的写thank note.
这次真心希望能先通过一面.我们学校就我没找到工作了, 其他的不管美国人还是国际
学生都有offer了..真是太让我感到没底气, 太压抑了...
下周一还有考far, 我还要每天抽出8个小时照顾我那8个多月的宝宝..又在为interveiw
找工作的事发愁...我快疯了. |

我顶楼上说的“找工作是需要一些破釜沉舟的决心”。
我的情况和你很相似。快6年博后，土博，有卡。差一点的是，我的合同这个月底就到
期，老板没钱续合同了。
工作从8月份开始找（现在看来估计太乐观了，建议在自己的乐观估计上加两个月的时
间，因为最后一个月不能算数，心情差到很难积极投简历，而且投了也不会很快有回应
）。
我的文章不错，但是找faculty难，因为土博，没大佬的关系。而且觉得如果faculty没
本事拿funding也就是混口饭吃。所以我只投公司。一个月前曾经动摇想找postdoc做后
备。后来自己否决了。一般情况下，有plan B的时候人往往会有惰性而最终走进plan B
。反正我就是横下一条心，反正身份没问题。了不起拿救济，4－5个月内还可以拿现在
工资的5－60％。
最后这个月是心情很郁闷的，不过还是要尽量保持好的精神面貌，因为这对面试很重要
。上个月有个面试，fail了。最后这个月终于有了两个面试，节前搞定了一个，今天收
到消息，另一个也搞定了。终于可以松口气了。
我想说的是，说楼主对学术很执着，我觉得不然。执着是指，现在有份很好的工业... 阅读全帖 |

First, the problem is more or less equivalent to studying the infinite sum
of ln(1-J/n).
But, ln(1-J/n) ~ -J/n for large n. So the real part of this infinite series
should diverge to negative infinity, with the order -c*ln(N).
Taking exponential, we get the infinite product, which should converge to 0,
with the order N^(-c).
Of course, nothing above is written rigorously, but it should not be very
hard to construct a proof along this line. |

Phone Interview 等于啥都没问。
On site interview 旅途糟糕透顶，前一个晚上就睡了2个小时。
再前前一个晚上睡了4个小时，所以面试当天状态很差。

actually this guy is a CMG also. after finishing his fellowship, he worked
in a academic center for several years, and did pretty well and is well
published. Now he quits because had a big family and has a lot of financial

Althoug step in is the most important step, it is not acceptable that
someone with such amazing credentials gets into a so so community hospital.
Don't take it. There is a lot difference between community and university
hospital.

are today.“。现在技术发展，radiation dosage from dental x-ray已经降低了很多
了。
另外，这是一个poorly designed，非常不严谨的研究，病人照x光的数量仅仅是通过
interveiw病人的方式来决定的。不知道有多少人能记得过去十几年，甚至几十年照过
多少次x光，每次照了多少片子，种类是什莫？
radiation会致癌，但前提也有dosage的多少。做一次全口的dental x-ray接受的辐射
同坐一次国际航班接受的自然界的辐射是相当的。

今年很多的CMG都拿到这里的面试，简单说一下：
1. PG概况：
1).位于birmingham,AL，规模相对较小，每年招2-3个，两个教学医院，以培养
community pathologists为目标；
2).IMG所占比例不小，因为前几届都招了CMG，而且表现出色，故对CMG比较
friendly；
3).PG里的resident有一些特殊福利如就餐等；
4).提供免费住宿，所提供的hotel不错；
2. Interview及注意事项：
1).在这里interveiw的时候和resident呆在一起的时间更多，如果能掌握一些
resident的背景，会让交谈更顺利；而且，在这个PG制定rank list的时候，residents
的意见也很重要，所以要在和residents互动上下一些功夫。
2). 一般有4个attending，包括PD和/或副PD，参加面试，由于他们很忙，所以一般
面试时间较短，只有10-15分钟。

就在此环境中，几位既往study partner组了个pathology iv group。宗旨：此群不练
习iv，只用于定期交流各pg面试情况。
Material and Method: skype group, 不定期组会。
Result: 小组共15名成员，8名match path，4名match IM。
Conclusion: 虽然当年麦地求助无门，却发现4～7年前各位前辈热心的面经分享，受益
无穷，给面试增添不少信心。遂鼓动小组全体成员，独乐乐不如众乐乐，为2015申请
path童鞋鼓鼓气。

备，一下子被问到。悲催的是居然有2个interveiwer 问的都是这个问题。看着同面试
的其他人都是美国医学院4年级的学生，心里压力无限啊。感觉自己进去的机会很小，

5. 还是上面这个问题，问你把这张纸卖给银行，你能得多少钱
6. 一个n个项目的array，已经排好序了，问查一个人的名字需要的complexity是多少，
你设计一算法能做到的最好的complexity是多少

What typical questions would 高盛 ask?
It's bit earlier to ask now but what kind of salary range and title for 10+
yaers' expereinced 专业分析师 in 高盛.
