关的贴子很少，于是决定写一下我的考试流程，供后来的同胞们参考。
关于笔试
一共50道 选择题，做对40道就算通过。有10道题是关于各种TRAFFIC SIGNS的，要求你
知道每个标识代表什么。剩下的40道 是关于交规的，仔细看一下DMV的HANDBOOK，通过
应该没问题。
笔试不用预约，直接带上个人资料（护照，本州住址证明文件）到DMV随到随考。DMV考
试可以选择英语和汉语，我考的是英语的，听说汉语的翻译有的不是很到位，所以建议
选英文的。考完后会马上知道是否通过，如果通过当场交钱（只收现金和支票），
INSTRUCTION PERMIT会在两周之内寄给你。

面的来车及行人，如处理不好，极易发生危险。掌握好十字路口的驾驶技巧是顺利通过
路试及以后安全驾车的前提。
单纯的路口转弯控车是基本功，只有在基本功极其扎实、控车自如的情况下，才有可能
有足够的时间及精力去注意路面情况及车辆、行人、信号灯的变化。路口转弯控车的速
度一般为15~20km/h（指比较标准的直角转弯），转弯角度既不能太大（too wide）也
不能太小（too corner），转弯时转动方向盘的手法考试时建议使用交叉手(hand-over
-hand)，最好的回盘方法为利用方向盘的自动回力在加速的同时自然松手回盘，这种手
法最自然、控车最平稳、自如、流畅，但在交通拥挤或道路很窄时仍需使用交叉手的方
式回正方向盘。
十字路口有两类，一类是有控制的路口（Control Intersection），另一类为无控制路

1/31送老大去学钢琴，本来都已经迟到了， 一不留神错过了左转的出口，毛焦火辣中
突然看到前面有个口子， 马上打起左转灯， 一到就转了。哪知刚转过来就见后面警灯
闪闪, 心里暗叫一声"倒霉", 把车靠边等着. 然后警察就上来说, do you know left
turn is not allowed at that intersection? 我说没看到有No Left Turn的sign啊.
他一边写ticket一边说, 您到法庭上跟法官说去吧: Improper left turn/U-turn ...
这下就更迟到了...回家后越想越没对, 这个路口我每周都要进出好多次(主要是右拐)

A solution simply: use binary search to search the top points, goes from

从停车场出来，才发现上乐单行道，见周围好象没有车，就从intersection上换到乐对面
的道，过乐一个红灯发现有一车车从远处过来，没有闪警灯，以为是一样的倒霉蛋，结果
继续开，没想道居然又上乐一个单行道，当时是夜里12点，不打远光灯根本看不见ONE
WAY 的牌，这个时候又有一车车从另外一个方向上来乐，两车同时打开乐警灯，偶当时懵
乐，一来没驾照，二来走单行，压INTERSECTION，然后又走单行，死定乐...两个车车一
前一后让偶停车，只有靠边。一魁梧警察叔叔拿电筒过来乐，一紧张半天才把窗户摇下来
，开始装糊涂，问什么事丫您那？叔叔说你丫刚才走单行，压线，现在又上乐单行道，偶
知道反正死路一条，继续装糊涂，是单行吗？你确信吗？真的是单行吗？是吗？你没有骗
我吗？...叔叔不耐烦乐，说你自己看标志...我装迷茫状，标志，什么标志？真的有标志
吗？...叔叔说，打远光灯看呀你...结果打开，确实远处有标志，做大悟状，然后反问，
在downtown不是不能开远光灯丫，我丫遵守规则，你们丫放那么远偶怎么看 |

and didn't want to practice simple driving on a regular routine.
She wanted to pick up her friend in airport.
But I wasn't familiar with the road nearby the airport.
Finally she agreed to drive slowly.
None of us knew the road. When we stopped at a intersection,
she decided to turn left. But that intersection is 6 way.
She didn't know which way is for turning left.

that U-turns are prohibited in business districts (i.e. urban areas, or
built-up areas) except at intersections. The relevant passages are in the
section entitled Laws And Rules Of The Road - Turns - Legal U-Turns, and are
as follows (as at Jul-02):
You may make a U-turn at an intersection on a green light or green arrow
unless a 'No U-Turn' sign is posted.
You may NOT make a U-turn in a business district, except at interse |

其次你对速度和距离的判断不准，你不能怪人家不减速什么的，因为你有足够的时间观
察对方的速度
并作出判断；
其三对方也是愣子，开车不够警觉，反应有够慢。
只有交罚款买教训啦~~人没事已是万幸
PS 我记得manual里面说，如果直行车“Approaching intersection”的时候，左转车已
经“Enter Intersection”，那么直行车需要yield左转。
但是一般警察叔叔碰到这种情况都是处理左转车，所以左转的时候总是要万分小心的。

点是在intersection上，因为我当时没有发现并指出我是在岔路上做的Ｕ－turn。
黑黑警察太不厚道了。。。还开辆undercover的车子。。。不然我说啥也不做Ｕ－turn

dont have to turn when the traffic light is turning to yellow, you only can
turn when there is no car coming straight towards you. You have to let the
car pass, and then turn, you still can turn even when the traffic light just
turns to red if you are already in the middle of the intersection. And the
cars on the green lights wont hit you because you are in the intersection,
and they already see you while they are waiting at the light. |

录像，是在红灯时，没有完全停稳就右转了（当时没有来自左面的直行或对面的左转车
）。我知道，面对红灯右转时先要STOP，但对这个Voilation，网上的解释是：
Q: What is a red light running violation?
A: A red light running violation occurs when a motorist enters an
intersection after the traffic signal has turned red. Motorists already in
the intersection when the signal changes to red, when waiting to turn for
example, are not considered red light violators.
想请教各位高人，虽然我有错，但这个指控对吗？如果不对的话，我能否去争取一下，
免掉这个罚单呢？
