那天与朋友聊天的时候，突然发现了一些规律，是一个很有趣的现象。
1. 中国人对人的描述是行为，西方人对人的描述是intention
2. 中国人对人的判断是intention，西方人对人的判断是行为
第2点，举个很简单的例子，中国人喜欢概括的说，一个人是“好人”，意思就是没有
害人的心。西方人很少那样说。西方人对人的判断是那个人的行为。一个中国人口中的
“好人”可能就是一个passive aggressive的psycho path，或者一个表面温文尔雅的
borderline。所以西方人只判断那个人做事的行为，比如谁做事很sneaky。所以，中国
文化里面对人的判断miss out了一大片有心理障碍的人，一群行为和intention不符合
的人。
第1点，也是举个例子。中国人如果不喜欢一个人，喜欢简而盖之的形容一个人“怪”
，而西方人会用那个人做事的动机来描述，比如 he isn't sure what he is doing。

顺便请问一下，我的文凭都不是美国的。听说要先把文凭邮寄去评估（requestfor
evaluation of foreign credentials)。评估完，看我还差那些学分，再补。补完以后
再填application of intent申请。但是我看评估申请表上要求同时附上application
of intent.否则不予以评估。我的问题在于我学的课程，没有标明每门课的credit。请
他评估也是为了能够界定各门课的学分。如果要同时附上application of intent我哪
知道要怎么填阿。
请问做过这个的各位，大家都是怎么操作的？
还有，我有两个学校的文凭。其课程都要算在内才够学分。这样的话，如何要求不同的
学校直接给board寄成绩单，然后由board汇总？如果学校不提供这个服务怎么办？而且

拿到midyear依然有typo，杯具啊。。。
11月份：ask for letter of recommendations。问的时候顺便把CV, letter of
intent一同交给references，让他们可以有东西可以写。
12月份：去midyear之前要确定哪些program你要去咨询，showcase地图打出来，
highlight好Program的位置和时间。准备好问题，打印在纸上，带上notebook就可以进

Update,谢谢大家，今天签了offer，4月份就去工作了，正在催H1-B，估计下周才开始
办，不知道还来不来的急。
简单说说经过，以后的人也可以避免这种情况。 去年7月manager就签了offer letter
， 希望我8月CPT开始工作，不过HR的人离职了，manager又休假了，就一直没人处理，
然后公司内部财政问题，position被cancel了。今年manager重新create了一个
position，然后立刻给我签了offer letter，不过HR的人处理paper work又用了很久，
到我给manager写信催才处理 。。。
多说2句，是关于那个讨论薪水的，我也是PHD但给的是master的薪水，不过manager早

article sad. Though I understand some of the underlaying themes of respect

不但没有将被害人送医，反而拿出尖刀将伤者刺杀，西安市法院4月22号判处药家鑫死

It is exactly because this is such a non issue that I'm sure their intention is malicious.
