但我的insurance premium是付得比较多。
search了一下，这个insurance credit score的模型考虑的点也是和普通credit score
差不多，比如hard pull， utilization等等，但是肯定考虑的权重不同，才会出现两
个score一个是excellent，一个是poor
哪位大牛对insurance credit score比较了解？知道这个score里面最看重的是啥？我
也好improve一下我的insurance credit score。。。 |

最近有人推荐Permanent Life Insurance(7702)这个产品给我们。
我们去年开始买了30年的term life insurance,当然term的话就意味着这个钱都扔进去
了，没有回报率，也不希望有回报（除非死亡）
Permanent Life Insurance跟Whole Life insurance稍有不同，但是我还是没看出本质
的不同。是不是好的投资方式呢？
大家有什么心得？关键我无法google到一个中性客观的评价，要么说特别特别好，都是
宣传性的，要么就是说多么 多么不好。我很想得到比较客观的评价。

provided by your university), your wife is eligible for insurance benefit
as long as you add her as dependent of your plan within one month of
her arrival in US. And the insurance should cover this expense.
However, the insurance coverage she gets is the same as yours. Talk to your

insurance is not compulsory, although you can choose to buy if you want.
house insurance is compulsory for HDB house.
if anything happens such as death or disabilities, the HDB house you bought
will belong to you. your house insurance covers the lost of loan for bank. but
for EC or private house, if you dont buy house insurance, the bank will take

么怎么.而且我的Realtor也说必须买.所以就花了$1600多买了.最近才发现,这个owner
title insurance是律师自己起草的,而且insurance policy只保留在律师手中.不给我
这个owner.原因是因为title发生错误的机率很小,所以insurance policy不需要给
owner.但如果我想要,也可以给我一份copy.我觉得有点奇怪,既然我买的insurance为什
么policy不给我,要我想要才给我?还有,既然title发生错误的机率很小,为什么一定要

Dental Insurance，Dentist在其network下，附件下是Claim EOB的截图。
图里显示的是：Metlife没有按Dentist office提供的Item付费($817)(可能用的是仿真
牙的牙冠，价格高些)，而是选择了价格低的($757)，并以此为标准付了50%($378.5)，
这些我理解。但是轮到我负责部分，却用的是($817-$378.5)，而不是($757-$378.5)。
我自己在整个过程中还算细心的，做了price estimation。当时也看到这个了，但没有
意识到我需要付这个价格差价。还以为dental insurance和我都是以这个低价格来付费
的。需要说明，Metlife提供的price estimation只说了它们cover多少，没有提供的是
patient要负责多少。另一方面，Dentist office小秘拿着price estimate跟我解释时

那个房子镇里估价房子和地各$200K，感觉保险给估个300K都接受，但是要说500K，真
的太over了。

seller agent是我们的dual agent。他要求我们必须使用他的escrow agent, Chicago
title Co. 而且owner's/lender's insurance policy都要我们来付。这个是加州的惯
例吗？在living版上看，好像有些州是seller买。
这个是seller agent报给我的报价：
Chicago Title Co rates:
Escrow fee $918
Owners insurance policy $1593
Lenders insurance policy $711

交一样多钱吧？
每个月的缴费，先交life insurance premium,剩下的存入投资账户。如果每月缴费比
当月的life insurance premium低，不足部分从投资账户中扣除。提前中断whole life
insurance有tax问题。不太清楚，如果投资账号没有钱被保险公司terminate 保险，
是否需要补交以前投资盈利部分的收入税。
Whole life insurance有几点需要主意：
1。 Premium相比同期的Term要高。
2。投资的基金选择有限，并且收益不是太好。
3。提前中止有税收问题。提前从投资账号支取，好像没有。前几年（3年？）中止，有
罚款几千。
既然你这么热心，麻烦你从你的代理那里将现在的60到90岁的life insurance premium
(10万的保险）贴在这里吧。也让大家看看60-90岁总共须交多少保费。在这里先谢谢你

发帖数: 5769 | 20 我来说说我知道的吧,也是很有限的.我们店忙,一有难搞的insurance都是丢给senior
Tech或者pharmacist,然后就去忙别的.我们店自己3个pharmacist，一个年级比较大，
也不管这些。另外一个经理一个副经理都很厉害的。如果我能学到她们的80%以后就哪
里都不怕了，哈哈。
当然各家system不一样，我只说我们的啦。
最简单的是medicaid，一般只需要ID number, name, 不需要Rx group,plan name 也只
有一个。别的基本上输入bin #, PCN #, ID # and Rx grooup#，搞清楚谁是
Cardholder，都能搞定。
有的时候输入bin and PCN之后还是一个长list不知道怎么选，就要仔细看card上面还
有什么信息，比如medco,CVScaremart之类的了。
还有的要凭经验，比如我们系统对于BCBS，有的时候ID前面3个字母要去掉才能过，有
的时候signa最后的01要去掉，因为01只是表示他是cardholder。

这个嘛说简单点就是保险公司觉得这个药贵，不在直接cover的list上面，他们希望确
定病人有适当的理由一定要用这个药。比如有一次protonix的Rx过insurance, msg提示
要病人先试omeprazole or nexium。这个时候一定要跟病人解释清楚，不是一个小时2
个小时能搞定的。我们有用covermymed.com给医生发传真，然后医生再给insurance发
传真说这个病人必须要用这个药哈，然后insurance那边OK了，经过什么手续了，我们
就再次通过自己的系统submit就能过了。有的时候快2-3天能搞定，有的时候医生那边
拖拉可以搞上几个礼拜。
Rx note很好用，我们发了传真，打了电话，就写上一个短note,这样病人如果重复打电
话（不是夸张地，有人能一天打上快10通电话），别的同事一查就知道了。
workers comp，这个也是有固定的plan name，然后要一些信息比如受伤地点时间之类

们的车完
全停在红绿灯前，绿灯后后面的车直接就撞了上来。
两个黑人风风火火的走出来后一阵哇啦哇啦，我BF和同学没理他们，先去看了下车子没
什么大问
题，只是有些刮擦和bumper上一个小洞。这两个人想推卸责任，比较过分的是想吓唬我

，各家保险公司给的quote都比较高。其中Allstate是denied，但是推荐New York
Insurance Plan。State Farm也说可以帮助申请New York Insurance Plan。可是我到
New York Insurance Plan的网站看了一下，人家说申请的条件是Applicants must
declare and certify that they have tried and failed to obtain automobile
insurance in New York State within the preceding 60 days。但是就我的情况而言
，其实并不是无法找到保险，而是保险的费用太高，所以不知道符不符合申请条件。有
亲身经历的朋友们来说一说吧，像我这种情况是不是能够申请这个plan，关键是不要留
下什么不好的记录。多谢啦！ |

in Herndon, Virgina and using Metlife insurance. I had a small accident only
6 months ago, and insurance company paid ~750. I don't know whether it is
worthy to go through insurance company. If I do, I have no idea how much the
insurance fee will increase. Any ideas? Should I pay directly from my
pocket.

For insurance, you may want to call your insurance to double check. I guess it will not cover the rental car if there is future accident with your fault.

The other question is, the daily allowance is $20, I need to pay a few

pocket payment from the other driver's insurance?

$150/year for $200k from New York Life insurance. This is private term life
insurance which will be gone after 10-years term finished. The rate will be
high if you continue to buy after 10-year. If you want an investment in life
insurance, you spend about $500 or so per year for $100k as I remember and
then you get the money back after you are veli veli old or die.

我是学生, 刚来的PhD, 拿TA的工资, 本来那个health insurance是系里pay

的人给设了dead line, 说这个是法律规定的, 同时也是学校的code, 不交
就cancel registration ! 等于现在是两边都要我自己交, 一共600多.
我觉得不爽, 为什么我错过了dead line, 本来应该系里替我交的那90%就
也变成该我自己交的了呢 ??? 我有点觉得系里在糊弄我
就想问一下, 如果我不交, health insurance office 的人是不是真的有
权利cancel 我的registration, 我是不是就马上没身份必须离开美国了?

都找不着。

肯定会买home insurance, 但是这种情况下一般会要求房客买renter insurance吗？要
买的话怎么买，因为地址还是和我们一样的。我们是肯定希望房客有自己的renter

跟外国人明白一样。
客观的说，保险经纪和其他 sales 一样，的确也是凭本事靠力气吃饭的，我对
做的成功的 sale 也总是怀着敬仰的心态的。不过保险经纪也和大部分 sales
一样，要想做的好，不光得能把东西卖给的确需要的人，更重要的本事是能把
东西忽悠给那些根本不需要的人。从你的职业角度讲这倒也无可厚非，只是别
把所有人当傻子。
回到 permanent life insurance 本身。从 insurance 的角度来讲，一个人
如果有一定的积蓄留给配偶，子女独立以后，实际上已经没有什么好需要 life
insurance 的了。换句话说，如果一个人死了他至亲的人会陷入困境，这叫
insurance；如果一个人死了他至亲的人就锦上添花，这叫 speculation。
诚然，如果一个人死了他至亲的人真的能锦上添花毕竟也不是坏事。问题就在
于这个“花”的代价太高了。老老实实的存钱最后所能拿到的 benefit 远远
超过把钱投到 permanent life 里面去。 |

投1个月就保1个月。按照agent对我的解释，可以随时解除这个term life insurance。
找大的insurance company，我知道很多car insurance company也做这个。
一般来说20-30万是十几刀每月。
不错。也就每月少出去吃一顿。 |

还有一个基本问题：是不是不管term还是permanent，病死都会赔钱啊？那就是说

insurance is designed for relatively rich people. If you don't have a lot of
money, max your 403b for sure because the money you grow in 403b will be
tax deferred. If you do have extra money, I do suggest you buy IUL insurance

有一个朋友介绍的朋友（可能是broker还是什么，他说他能帮我查好多公司的quote）
问了情况以后给介绍了transamerica的1M的20年insurance，大约每个月是56多一点点。
我的问题是，我应该怎么样能了解一下insurance的基本知识，如何挑选life
insurance，怎么样知道不同公司的quote（想知道上面的quote怎么样）？对于最后这
一个，是不是只有上每一个公司网上填信息，他们call我，才能得到quote？
