为二的怪异感。事隔两年，书店变化很大，故补作一文。
世纪末的最后几年，书店越来越开放。记得以前买书只能远远观望，书则安然躺在柜橱
里，只能看着名猜内容。最要命的是书价被压在下面，侧身窥视，仍不知价目。不论身
心，都极为痛苦，更不好意思惊动售货员。一旦惊动，碍于面子，不买不行，于是佯装
草读一遍，心里暗叫：不要太贵！切莫太贵！偏偏这书看上去薄薄一册，一拿到手里感
觉不妙，竟不知怎么增肥不少。西方哲人说不可相信第一眼的爱情，买书亦是如此。然
后愈翻心愈往下掉，最后眼一闭，嘴角肌肉一抽，狠把书翻个身扫其身价，两眼一瞪，
不自主地咽下去一口口水，想万幸万幸，贵得不算离谱，尚可承担。如今不同，如今大

拿到schedule后我会去学校的网站上把要见的每一个人的CV好好研究一下，找几篇他们
最近的publication读一读。想好有些什么比较有趣的话题可以跟他们聊的。我会把要
见的人的profile都打在一两张纸上，然后旁边注上这些人的研究方向呀，毕业学校呀
之类的信息有时间就看一下。
出发的前两天开始准备talk和teaching。面试的第一家很变态，中午一小时的research
presentation,下午半小时的classroom teaching，然后还要学生写evaluation。第二
家只要了teaching demonstration, 第三家只要了research presentation。我觉得还
是要自信吧，正而八经的讲。偶第一家试图用些humor，结果反而坏了事。那家本来是
我老板推荐的，后来人家告诉我老板说不喜欢我。我老板还专门帮我问了一些detail的
东西。。。发现的以为的一些小humor人家当真了，以为我说他们太老。。以为我不会
用英文读数字。。。。其实都是我想逗他们开心一下的。。。NND。。。后来偶就老实

上面有几个贴提到个中心酸。我最近也在考虑这个问题。马克吐温说过，“Everything

也许就是因为发考题这个行业充满心酸和无奈，才让我觉得有好多东西可以写成相声。
借用常来本版光顾的一位名ID的话：“一群穷逼卢瑟还在这斗...” 我见过采访马季的
片段，年轻的时候吃过不少苦。据说周星星同学日常也不是个满脸堆笑的人。说实话，
