早晨到小镇上唯一的McDonald吃早饭。饭后偶然发现停车场边上有一棵大桑树，树上缀
满了紫黑的桑粒，地上也掉了好多，碾得黑乎乎的。兴致勃勃地摘了一些，还挺甜的，
意外收获。
今天上午的计划是Canyonlands National Park和Dead Horse Point State Park。从
Moab出发，US-191换Ut-313，半小时后到Canyonlands的Island in the Sky。
Canyonlands被Colorado River和Green River分割成三个部分，分别是北部的Island
in the Sky，东南部的the Needles和西南部的the Maze。由于河流和峡谷的阻隔，三
个部分互不相通，各有自己的入口。事实上，Canyonlands是四轮驱动的天下，很多
unpaved的道路，只有四轮驱动的越野车才能在这里驰骋，领略公园的魅力。这其中最
著名的是环绕Island in the Sky一周的White R |

people died，但是它更多的是把影片穿起来的线索。说得有道理。但是这匹战马还给
了人们一个独立于自身立场的角度去看战争。只有战马可以从服役于英国军队，到服役
于德军，最后又回到英国军队，而完全把人们带入一个中立的立场去看待战争，去痛惜
战争中失去的美好的生命，无论是属于哪一个国家的。尤其是德军中企图逃跑却被抓住
枪毙的的两个年轻的兄弟，弟弟只有十四岁，对未来尚充满憧憬。
影片的结尾，历经战争创伤的Joey与它的主人重逢，终于可以一起在彩霞满天下回归故
里。结尾处理的非常有诗意。有点像《飘》里卫希礼从战场上回来的那段。我还是满喜
欢Steven Spielberg的，觉得他的电影总是手法娴熟，磅礴大气，也很有思想，他电影
里的演员小角色也都演得特别好似的。开头的爱尔兰原野真漂亮，原野上伫立着农民的
画面，让我想起米勒的《晚禱》。
还看了New Year's Eve. 象中国的春晚或者建党/国伟业，很多美剧里出来的非常

War horse里一个能引起共鸣的人物也没有，Jon williams的“音乐”十分misplaced，
甚至“intruding”，搞个德国军人说着假模假式的英文，听着都要吐。
Hugo除了3D视效还不错外，其他基本可以说是乏善可陈，情节拖沓，简直是假大空的代
表。有才能的marty老早就死了，他坐台上的那股字倚老卖老的熊样准让奥斯卡提名常
青树伍迪阿伦不齿。
选的其他片子倒是艺术优先的不少。 |

卖活动中卖价最高的照片——Free2Run的《Horse in the Fog》。同时也感谢yspider
慧眼识货，捐出800美元，把这张照片买下，以自己独特的方式给地震灾区的小朋友们
送去了温暖。
作品如下：
事实上，在我最初整理照片的时候，这张照片就让我眼睛一亮，决定选其为首页代表作
。倒不是在于照片本身光影生动，而是照片蕴含的气质和格调令其脱颖而出。摄影分三
个层次：器材，技术和艺术。好器材者，拍照的目的在于玩弄器材。所以每次有了新的
器材便激动不已。久而久之，对器材失去了兴趣，就只好继续寻找新的器材来获得愉悦
。好技术者，苛求画质的方方面面，解析度，曝光，虚化等等，却往往因小失大，作品
充满匠气。追求艺术者，景由心出，立意为先。作品往往突出意境，不落俗套。深谙绘

将美国中西部空寂的氛围刻画得入木三分。

由于起得太早，进公园时，Visitor Center还没有开门，我们没有拿到地图，只好瞎摸
乱窜。还好我们心中有一个目标，那就是Delicate Arch。所以看到路标就直奔了过去
。经过1.5迈的小hi，终于看到了Delicate Arch， 我们每个人都很兴奋。一面感叹大
自然的鬼斧神功，一面狂按着快门。“给我在这照一张”的声音此起彼复。NM妹妹还不
顾众人苦口相劝及自己的恐高症，顺着岩山勇敢地走到了Delicate Arch的下面。对着
我们狂叫：“这边风景更好!”于是我们延着NM妹妹的足迹，换了个角度来看。结果NM
妹妹被我们称为“假恐高”，“我恐高”这三个字也成了我们旅途中的常用词。但凡有
点高度和坡度，我们就会说我恐高。不过，NM妹妹后来在Zion的A |
