2011年9月21日，在加州某大学的某同学A通过认识我的某朋友找我。A 同学碰到的情况
是他上学期选的一门Finance课程成绩被教授“暗算”了，只给了他成绩C。如果按他平
时的成绩和期末考（成绩未知）的情况，他应该能够拿A，哪怕是A-。没想到这个教授
整学生这么过分，把他的期末考和平时的participation分数当作fail，给他这门课的
成绩为C。
在他跟教授交涉未果之后，某朋友知道了这事情，跟我提起。我让A同学来直接跟我谈
，我需要了解各种情况，弄清楚各种事情的来龙去脉，才能确定我能否和怎么帮得了他。
在skype上交谈中，我让他把各种证据准备周全，并扫描给我看，包括这门课程该教授

defines and quantitatively measures "helping them with homework, to talking

们自己识别对错的judgement，进而付诸行动的self-discipline. Kids naturally
lack self-discipline, because, well, they are kids, their brain functions
have not fully developed (until they are in mid-20's). Even adults lack self
-discipline, so it's no reason to be harsh or even beat them.
What would I do as a parent? I would (1) help them understand why it is good
or bad to play games, smoke, help mom with house chores, finish homework

新人，还是要自己多做homework，masswildlife先仔细看看，了解一下资源规矩，然后
想玩什么，google youtube都是现成的，版上精华区和老帖子信息量丰富，实在搞不懂
了再上来问问题，版上热心的牛人有很多，没有解答不了的问题。
崭新的新手，上来要求组织活动，不现实。有经验的渔民帮帮带带肯定会容易上手很多
，但是自己的homework不可少。弯路肯定是要走的，经验是靠积累的。一点homework不
作，完全指望别人，不是好主意。
如果想随便玩玩，那就去随便买跟10刀的杆，拴根蚯蚓玉米啥的钓sunfish。
如果想认真钓鱼，那就准备好put your time and money in。
如果真想跟人学，至少需要表示些诚意，告诉别人你在哪里，有没有车，想玩啥。
大家互不了解，见面不一定投缘。老渔民带新手钓鱼空军后被骂的事发生不是一次两次
了。所以给lz些建议，自己作些钻研，其实钓鱼抓螃蟹这类事，很简单。

homework--that way they do not have to work on their homework at home when
they are done with their sports, which can be quite late. I also tell them

another instructor even did not use textbook exercises for homework,
considering exercises were too high level for students in our department for
a low level course.
This book is a classic probability one and can be used to teach various
subjects in many fields. For our level, we go really fast which is the
reason my professor does not require to do homework at all. For some

2. no extra homework at all.
3. from 6:30-8:30, dinner half an hour, practice piano half an hour, play
with brother half an hour. if homework hasn't finished at afterschool, spent
half an hour on homework.
4. totally free during the weekends, thinking about taking him to a sports
league in March. |

Homework可不少...可恨的是,他们中文AS没有做Homework的时间.
每天做Homework要快40分钟,慢1个半小时.
要每天读书20分钟,正反两页数学,一到两页Vocabulary Book,
现在还有一周一小段阅读理解...还有一周一次Spelling Words Review. |

don't even require a thesis. It's just the matter of taking some classes.
To evaluate Fang's wife's case, you need to look at the big picture. How
prevalent were her practice back then. If everyone else was doing that, you
can't blame her that much. And if you want to make a big fuss over a masters
thesis, you can just do the same with a homework assignment. Who can

人格完美。方舟子自己老婆写论文的时候，两人都不认识，凭什么要方为他老婆的行为
背书。
说方舟子被收买，为转基因辩护，却没有半点证据说明方从孟山都得到半点好处。
说方舟子剽窃抄袭，也是以点盖面。方纵然有翻译上的不妥之处，也不是他无数科普著
