10mpw的样子）也就好像每次路过一个高尔夫球场的时候感叹下草地挺平整的感觉。
结果大概两个星期前突然在跑一个上坡的时候突然就high了，就是那种周围的一切都是
那么的美好，阳光照耀下的每棵树的每个枝头都好像在闪着金光，自己被一团气包起来
的感觉。整个过程大概也就持续大概不到半分钟的样子，不过感觉实在太好，没有做爱
时高潮那么直接，但对情绪的影响非常大。我回家就把当时的感觉语言录了下来，作为
以后激励自己多跑步时候用。
后来这两周想了很多办法去重复那种感觉，想一模一样重复当时的跑的路程，也试过增
加跑步的里程和速度，但就是再也没有那次这种high了。 在网上做了些研究发现现在
科学界对究竟是哪种物质引起的runner‘s high 都还是有不小的争议。endorphins跨
不过血脑屏障. Henning Boecker 2008年在Cereb Cortex的发文章的结果相关性还是弱
了点。看网上的common wisdom也说不出多少道道来。

知道这里情况如何，这几个好高中亚裔也是很多的。 是不是最后结果都自己拼自己人
了呢？
刚参加了邻居的PARTY，儿子是REDMOND HIGH的刚从UW毕业。我问他班里多少人去了UW
， 他说50%。我估计BELLEVUE HIGH ,NEWPORTHIGH可能是7,80%. 他家印度人，女的微
软校长，男的波音的。 两个儿子都是在REDMOND上学。
如果BELLEVUE HIGH 和NEWPORT HIGH进IVY的也非常少，那除非自己孩子是顶尖的， 或
者是非常差的。大部分都去了UW。 还值得换房子么，一样的钱去住小黑屋，或者加很
多很多钱。值得折腾么。
但是因为没有数据，所以不知道该如何去选择。 谁知道哪里可以找到这种信息？ 包括
GIFT班毕业能上好学校的比例？ 谢谢！ 如果都很少的话，觉得真心不如呆在REDMOND,
SAMMAMISH, KIRKLAND算了。 真非让孩子有希望上IVY, 不如去私校了。机会还更大些

high还好，岂不是要和newport high 差不多了？ |

我没记错的话，redfin是用的great school rating的，一旦redfin像zillow那样
refresh了最新的rating，家家买的就傻了

发帖数: 1 | 50 小孩在初中Gifted Class,成绩还过得去,基本上93-95左右。
但是学习极不自觉，除了能基本完成学校作业外其他内容一概不学。
每天回家就是上网和同学聊天玩XBOX游戏，让他学习得吼三四遍以上。
Newport High优点很近，不用接送，Interlake High开车要接近半小时，
而且高中没校车，可能要自己接送？
Newport缺点主要担心课业太简单太轻松，时间都玩掉了。
Interlake课业能重一点，这样学校能帮忙推一下，我们家长实在是推不动。
大学目标不是爬藤，UW就好了，希望高中能打好基础，大学能有好的GPA。
请问不自觉的孩子是该选Newport High还是Interlake High Gifted Class? |
