东西里面有没有Gypsy Moth Eggs（一种害虫）。我看了一下好像不止是U-Pack, 其他
搬家公司搬去加州也都要这样。打电话去U-Pack，说是让我自己检查，然后把检查过的
东西打勾；但他们的网站上又有帖子说是打勾告诉他们有哪些东西，他们会take care
of the rest。哪位知道这个checklist是怎么回事？如果我自己检查的话，应该怎么查
呢？
另外我总觉得这个有点形式化，我自己检查又不是专业的，而且同样的东西，我可以走
U-Pack运也可以放在自己车上开过去啊。 |

牛拉，太厉害啦。 无论如何都得先杀掉她。
天亮啦。Gypsy同学壮烈啦。YY同学发言：“我觉得，F15和土匪太没逻辑啦。留着他们
也是搅局。不如， 就选他们把。”俺晕倒，这也成了理由啦。更可气的是， Speedo同
学居然一口咬定俺就是杀手 。我想完拉完啦，这杀手还真不好当。没办法，只好有气
无力的说，好吧好吧，你们就把我当作杀手好啦。第一轮投票下来，俺居然没事。F15
却被干掉啦。不过，临刑前，他非常聪明地说他怀疑SX和BB是杀手 （后来证明这句话
的的确确地保护了SX同学）。既然Speedo同学咬定俺就是杀手， 看来是非干掉他不可
啦。

家里两只猫咪一只小哈。
第一只咪是Gypsy（小吉），从小养大的，娇生惯养，像个大小姐一样的性格。不喜被
无端骚扰。
第二只咪是Alien（艾爷），就上图的那只，被邻居遗弃在outdoor，lp可怜他，就领养
回来了。当时他差不多4岁。可能因为有在外被抛弃的经历，性格特别的温和，什么事
都能逆来顺受。
第三只是小哈，Blizzard（小暴），上图那只，从小拿来的，当时Gypsy已经3岁，
Alien已经5岁。典型的小哈性格。多动症，但没有侵略性和领地意识。
现在Alien已经能够有一定程度的容忍Blizzard的骚扰。只要不是太过分，他都会懒得
躲开。主要是懒得躲。。。
小吉始终不能完全接受小暴，如果被骚扰时身在高处，一定会呼哈的上爪子，如果不得
地形优势，基本就是飞窜着跑走。
如果我们不在家或者晚上睡觉，都会把小暴关起来的。楼下的厕所已经改装成他的窝了
。一定要隔离开它们。猫猫如果被逼急了，下手一定不会留情面的。。。
就算家里没有猫，建议狗狗的主人白天的时候还是要把狗狗关在安全的地方，为了它的

中国游学团经常入住的洛杉矶县柯汶纳市(Covina)十号公路附近一家华资酒店，日前发
生一起歹徒强行进入酒店房间，性侵中国来美小游学生案；受害人为正在洛杉矶参加冬
令营的中国小游学生。
柯汶纳警方在案发不到48小时内，于9日傍晚宣布，性侵嫌犯竟是格兰岱尔(Glendale)
一所教会的首席牧师；警方9日稍早公布了嫌犯录影，请民众协助追捕罪犯。
受害人来自杭州 约10-13岁
警方9日傍晚举行紧急记者会表示，受害人为来自浙江杭州的一个小游学生团成员，年
龄在10至13岁之间。
警方怀疑嫌犯随机作案，但不排除中国小游学团经常入住当地酒店，引起不法人士非分
之想。

涉及两名来自中国的未成年小游学生的性侵案，震动社区。柯汶纳警方通缉性侵嫌犯为
格兰岱尔（Glendale）一所教会的首席牧师，嫌犯11日向警方自首。
40岁的Douglas Rivera奉职格兰岱尔上帝吉普赛基督教会（God Gypsy Christian
Church），为该教会的首席牧师。本人则住在鲍尔温，离其涉嫌作案的柯汶纳开车大约
十分钟。在案发两天后，他向柯汶纳警方自首。
调查人员表示，嫌犯在作案前曾在停车场透过窗户看两个十岁和12岁的游学团女生，并
在他驾驶的货车里自慰。随后进入了房间，侵犯了其中一位女生。

叔为何有此感慨？因为昨天看了CBC的一个记录片 “Gypsy's Truth and Lies”。有兴
趣的自己搜，这个母亲为了自己，居然把亲生女儿当道具赚取同情和捐赠。中国父母绝
对不会这样做的。这就是中国文化的强大，先进，伟大之处。

曼哈顿一间工作室（没有卧室）每月租金报价竟然高达2，351美金。有时候一间公寓之
前的住户上午搬走，下午就有人搬进去。所以一旦你看上了一套公寓最好尽快和房东签
合同，不然这套房子很有可能就被别人抢走了。在这样紧张的情况下，能找到一个住处
可是真不容易。
Craigslist网站成了生活的全部
去年秋天，从芝加哥搬到纽约，我和我的母亲为了看房在纽约的大街小巷奔走5天。整
个一周，主要活动就是利用所有能用的时间在Craigslist上搜索可能租到的房子然后去
看房。
喜欢Craigslist这个网站是因为它能过滤搜索信息，我不至于在上千所房屋广告中筛选
，并且可以设置租房的位置，价格区间，甚至可以要求需要有房屋图片或具体房子介绍
，等等。
当然，在Craigslist网上搜索也需要非常的谨慎（在约雇主面谈和看到房子之前，千万
不能把钱直接转给房主），其实我的第一间公寓就是在Craigslist网上找的，并且对它
非常满意。我租的是一个三室一厅一卫的公寓，还有两个非常友好年龄相当的美女舍友。
