你们系应该有类似director of graduate studies的角色吧
通常这个位子的老师是为研究生谋福利的。
你可以把自己的情况跟他/她谈一下，寻求一些建议
无论结果怎样，他/她是会为你保密的，美国人很注重这个
你也可以在谈话的时候强调一下。这属于职业道德的范畴。
如果没有这个角色，或者这个角色的人不怎么管事，
另外一个可以谈话的人是你的系主任。以征求建议的口吻，
帮助协调师生关系是他分内的事请，不用觉得有什么不好。
还有一种下策就是学校一般设有grievance的部门，
给学生一个渠道report any conflict with a professor
这个渠道学生是受保护的，部门绝对不会向老师告密。
另外你也可以物色一下又没有换导师的可能性，如果有，
应该采取什么行动。比如侧面和正面了解感兴趣的老师的意向，
可以在和graduate director/dept head谈的时候一起提出。
当然在做这一切之前还是要看看有没有可能和这个导师直接交流

很多人认为，美国是一个以基督教信仰立国的国家，但今天却不允许在公立学校里传讲
基督教信仰，实在是不可思议。
这种看法在基督徒家长中尤以为最，有些家长因而不愿意将子女送到公立学校念书，以
免孩子在公立学校的环境中失去了信仰。
其实，美国是否是以基督教立国，以及在公立学校是否绝对不可谈基督教信仰，这两个
问题，都是有商榷之处的。
首先，让我们看看美国建国时的情形。美国在1776年宣布独立，在1789年通过宪法，选
出第一位总统华盛顿。在同年，国会又通过十条宪法修订案，称为人权法案（Bill of
Rights），这十条修订案于三年后（1792年）生效。虽然美国建国的领袖大多都是基督
徒，但是，如果从人权法案来看，与其说美国是以基督教立国，不如说美国的立国精神
，是在于保护人民不会在宗教上受到政府的迫害。
人权法案与政教分离
美国宪法修正案第一条的条文是：“国会不得制定关于下列事项的法律：设立宗教或禁

到今天副院长会承当一部分责任，这使我们的计划落空了，A还是没有被赶出Committee
。我忙安慰他说：我们还是达到了一定的目的，至少洗脱了抄袭的罪名，而这个是最大
、最重要 的收获。对此，导师表示认同。我们商量，目前在等待系主任和A联系结果的
同时我要做两件事情：第一、仔细看A在我论文上所写的意见；第二、和其他老师联系

说你老公职位算白领，可能是non-union position，所以没有工会也是可能的；city一
般比较cheap，九年赶人走是可能的，应对措施是file grievance，然后纪录所有被骚
扰的证据，自己不要干出格的事情，死赖在那里，不要quit，不要辞职，非要被
terminated也没办法，回头打官司，一般city会输官司，因为city比较cheap，雇不起
好律师，所以常常输官司，他见过很多被fire的人后来赢了官司又回来上班了，他自己
也告city赢过官司，有必要的时候可以故意往种族上扯，不过大多数跟你已经知道的也
差不多，现在已经过去，只是让你们下次再碰到有所准备

)? It's like a prosecutor's office, except that the people there prosecute
attorney misconduct instead of criminal activity. Usually it's a good idea
to report attorney misconduct to the AGC as soon as possible, and they will
open an investigation for you--like how you should report criminal activity
to the police ASAP, rather than waiting to sue |

剛剛信主的阿翔，每天早上起來總不忘記來到神面前禱告。他每天禱告的內容不外
乎求神保守他，使他平安無事，凡事順利。

我在美国华人教会事奉多年，见过不少年轻夫妇决定将孩子留在家里上学，而不送进公
立学校。为此，他们花了许多的时间，大多数的妻子都放弃在外工作的机会，专心留在
家里教育子女。
这些家长之所以如此做，有他们的原则与理想，是非常值得钦佩的。《举目》55期，即
刊登了两篇“家庭学校”的文章。一篇的作者是家长汪长如弟兄，另外一篇是我在美国
西方神学院的校友曾思瀚教授。
我想以我担任公立学校教育委员16年的经历，对这两篇文章做点回应。特别是对基督徒
家庭的孩子是否应当摒弃公立学校，做一些分析。
首先，我观察到，家长选择“家庭学校”有两大主要原因∶1. 信仰问题。因为公立学
校不能教基督教信仰。2. 公立学校的教学程度问题。
公立学校在这两方面，的确让不少家长无法接受。但是，美国公立学校的教育，也不尽
如汪文所讲的全然负面、一无可取。
诚然，公立学校的教育是偏向人文主义的，基本上也都是把进化论当作真理来教的。但
是，从公立学校出来的，就没有基督徒了吗？我们这些基督徒，比如从大陆来的，当年
受的不也是那样的教育吗？
