年的Model-T 专车，再坐坐1931年的Bus，还有更早的马车。顺带走马观花看了不少玻
璃艺术品，一天过得充实愉快。

定要实地考察一下。
velma court在greenfield ave上，公交方便，不过不是single family house
beachwood ave上靠近velma court附近有不少小apartment
如果非要house，可能得到murray ave附近找找 |

到那去以后，有touch-less的，就是坐进去走一圈好像是，我没洗那样的，因为不确定
能不能冲底盘，我洗的是self service的，就是开到一个bin里，停好车，然后在墙上
有一个旋钮，可以选择当前喷出的液体是什么，大概有7种，清水，高压清水，肥皂，
高压肥皂，wax，轮胎肥皂，还有empty，根据他建议的顺序，大概就是先喷轮胎肥皂，
然后喷肥皂，高压肥皂不知道有什么用，然后喷高压清水冲洗。
先用旋钮选择好要喷的液体，就可以投币了，1.5刀 3分钟（有电子显示器倒计时），
期间可以用旋钮随便转换不同液体，我先弄了个轮胎肥皂，喷出来白色的雾状，喷完轮
胎就把旋钮转到高压肥皂，开始喷整车，看起来还是不错的，注意转换的时候会有一点

虽然貌似在中国brother four 最著名的曲目是《try to remember》，我曾经也很爱这
首歌，但是在我日夜不歇地听了48小时之后，某ex威胁道“你要remember 谁啊，再听这
个咱就分手”。迫于对方淫威我和这首歌彻底决裂。只不过后来还是分手了，早知道当
年就继续听之了。
后来又喜欢《55 days in Peking》， 一首反战歌曲，描述了八国联军时中国北京的惨
烈状况。我热爱祖国，所以这首歌成了我的favorate。我是过于地痴迷于流行乐坛的靡
靡之音，每逢美女帅哥必推荐之，遭受无数冷遇依然痴心不改。
《Greenfield》适合夜深人静，本该睡觉却又无事找事，妄图无病呻吟时听，怀念童年
时的一份纯真，怀念那些年少轻狂的岁月。
另外一首类似的是Queen 的《These are the days》。我一直偏执地认为Freddie Mecu

，10分钟车程之遥的Shaftsbury有他的故居；再开20分钟到Manchester又有林肯儿子、
军务部长、铁路大王Robert Lincoln的豪宅Hildene。去Vermont的途中还按PNH689的建
议走了麻省的Mohawk trail，拜访Shelburne Falls小镇的五彩花桥、瀑布穿石和
玻璃作坊。行程两天。当时来不及整理照片，拖到今年才贴出来答谢PNH689。因为照片

两个老黑用枪顶着他，带他去atm取出debit card中的钱，由于取款上限只有三千
两个老黑丢下他后马上去walmart把剩下的一千多挥霍一空
等他报案把卡挂失后已经都损失了，debit card的损失恐怕也找不回来了
联想起去年的华人学生被打事件也是发生在greenfield，可见greenfield及其邻近地区
不太安全，希望童鞋们注意
另外，我觉得debit card没事儿不要总放身上，credit card有人盗刷，公司会给赔，
debit好像就没戏了。 |

Hill district, strip district, bloomfield, east liberty等等那一片是老黑区，简单的说就是不要住到centre以北或者penn以北；south oakland也不太平；河南边的beechview据说也不好。
pittsburgh这边比较好的neighborhood有：sq hill，缺点是犹太人多；shadyside和
pointbreeze，缺点是离黑人区近；highland park，缺点是如果你在oakland上班，需要经过黑人区；greenfield据说不错，我不太清楚。
如果单独住1br的话，sq hill在700~900，north oakland和shadyside在700~1100，
highland park和point breeze在500~700，greenfield和swissvile以house为主。
我前面问你在哪上班，如果在oakland的话，住在north oakland会比较方便，虽然不是太安静。如果你在monroeville上班那选择就完全不同。当然有车并... 阅读全帖 |

关健是一过去就需要住宿啊
在http://www.discoverpps.org上查询了一下public school的情况，UMPC周边，Weil PreK-5、Miller PreK-5、Woolslair K-5、Liberty K-5、Linder K-5、Minadeo PreK-5等都几乎是African American占半数。
Greenfield K-8和Colfax K-8都是Caucasian占半数以上，Asian占10%左右，感觉上似
乎应该好点吧。
比较performance，Greenfield在top third，似乎相对更好些。
不过看了一圈，African American好多啊。。。 |

1. City of Pittsburgh的学区，大多不怎么样。Pittsburgh School District里最好
的是Colfax K-8，在Squirrel Hill（注意：并非所有的Squirrel Hill地区都属于
Colfax K-8，注意查看具体的学区划分）。此外Greenfield K-8也还不错，黑小孩不多。
Greenfield和Colfax基本上公共交通还算方便。当然也要看具体位置。到Oakland匹大
校区基本一部车直达，时间大约半小时左右。
周边地区几个公认最好的好学区包括：南边的 Mt.Lebanon，东北边的Fox Chapel，北
边的 Franklin Park, Sewickley 等等。
2. Mt.Lebanon：中国人很多，房租也不贵。基本上 2br 在 600～900 左右。Mt.
Lebanon是这几个好学区里公共交通最方便的。即使不买车上下班也比较方便。
交通：自己开车进城的话必须经过隧道，肯定会堵车。但可以坐 Light Rail 到

发帖数: 4522 | 38 好吧，我来报报流水帐。我们MA Evergreen是A2，赛前就猜Hoyok他们B组较强，事实果然
如此，很是羡慕他们。
我们这组基本没有悬念。第一场我们对MD“大爷”，Greenfield四号位开网强攻，小斜线
打伤我方主力一名。另外他们的左撇子接应也很厉害，点高线刁。我们没有高度优势，好
在二传经验丰富，压低传球高度，加快节奏跟他们对攻。我在四号位得到的都是低平球，
趁对方双人拦网还没合拢从中间打洞。最终还是对方实力较强，两局我们都输了三四分。
第二局比较可惜，一直打到18平，最后他们找到我方一传弱点连连发球拿下21分。
总结下来，MD打中一二，放弃三号位，靠球星队员高点强攻，对一传依赖较小。而我方主
要靠副攻掩护和二、四号的拉开才能避开双人拦网，一传不到位就很难得手。所以在防反
上处于劣势，另外我们后排防守也不如对方。
打完MD，只有NJ Plainsboro稍强，我们第一局差点儿丢掉。其它四队，恐怕都是选择235
网高的，跟Hoyok他们组
相比，分组太不平衡。另外，听说Greenfield又打伤一人（杀鸡用牛刀？），后来就看他
一直在那儿休息。我们也经常换替补上场打着玩儿。小 |

patpat当时不在。ridgeren，kismet，reagan,还有greenfield都参加了。其中reagan
和greenfield大出风头，也成为了以后各队竞相争夺的目标。

发帖数: 4522 | 40 03年那场你们也很强，走马灯似地不断换高手上来，决赛之前就没有固定阵容，否则应
该不会输给Fusion。
GREENFIELD去这些队伍的任何一支肯定都是主力，我觉得FUSION现任主攻就不如他，要
说老江嫌他，恐怕别的原因吧。老江要求比较高，听说业余些的平时跟他们FUSION打球
都受气的。
至于05年打B组，明显Daye队除了他跟一个左撇子就没有别的进攻点，你们当时有徐高
人，下午还加了老刘不也打的B组吗？其实那次A组三个队也很没意思，Fusion是硬着头
皮上，多伦多那支队以为有两个前国手就能搞定，问题是国手没体力，其他人也太不管
用，所以最后复旦那支黑马队拿了冠军。
另外每支队伍的需求，还有每个人的临场发挥都会影响结果。我比较饭Greenfield是因
为他攻防比较全面，也没什么架子，对弱队来说作用很大，Daye队没有他05年肯定打不
过我们。徐高人05年在你们队起的作用就远不如今年在BU。

专家估计，中国大陆约有2400万名青少年上网成瘾，有关研究亦以大陆大学生为对象。来自北京大学、成都大学、四川大学、中国科学研究院和美国佛罗里达州大学等的研究人员，先以一份国际公认、由8条是非题组成的问卷，找出18名上网成瘾的19岁大学生，他们平均每周上网6.3天、每天花8至13小时（平均10.2小时）玩网上游戏，全部都没有滥药习惯。另外18名每天上网少于2小时、没有上网成瘾的同龄大学生则为对照组。
上瘾愈久 灰质愈萎缩
研究人员为两批学生分别进行脑部磁力共振扫描（MRI）比较，结果发现，上网成瘾者大脑的灰质（grey matter）均出现萎缩，而且上瘾时间愈长，灰质萎缩得愈严重。此外，大脑内部负责传递信息的白质（white matter）亦出现改变。研究人员称，这些脑部结构变异是由上网成瘾所导致，会令青少年认知功能出现缺陷，更容易对互联网产生依赖，甚至出现长... 阅读全帖 |

新药将助人类多活几十年
哈佛大学教授、来自澳大利亚的老龄化研究专家大卫?辛克莱尔指出，人类衰老的进程是由一组基因所控制的，事实上“人体自身有非凡的自我修复能力”。辛克莱尔曾经证明，在红酒中发现的植物化合物白藜芦醇（resveratrol）可以激活一种叫做去乙酰化酶（sirtuins）的蛋白质，延长酵母、蠕虫、果蝇和非洲肥鼠（Steatomys pratensis）的寿命。
目前，科研人员正在一群罹患二型糖尿病等老年病患者中进行一种合成分子药物的临床试验，并已取得初步的效果。据了解，这种药物的性能比白藜芦醇的效力要强1000倍。这项研究的目的首先是要找到治疗老年病的药物，然后再延缓造成人类衰老的疾病的发生。

当谈到全球市场竞争，尤其是出口领域的竞争时，中德两国正越来越多地发生碰撞。自2003年至2008年，德国一直是全球第一大出口国。2009年，中国超过德国、坐上了头把交椅——而且中国将继续保持这一地位。
2010年，两国双双再次显示了强劲的出口增长，并捍卫了自己的地位，在出口方面远远领先于美国。由于中德出口商之间有着惊人的相似之处，两国之间的竞争将相当激烈。
隐形冠军
为什么德国这个规模相对较小的国家在出口方面表现如此强劲？原因在于其“隐形冠军”：几乎不为人知的中型全球市场领军企业。我估计，全球范围内此类企业的总数量约为2500家，其中1200家来自德国。它们在德国出口中占到了四分之一左右。
