measurement problem 的解法,其背后的依据是 geometry measurement 和 time
measurement 都遵守 "congruent figure has same area/length" 以及
axiom of union 那两条 axiom。
但这个 mapping 的 formal operation 超过小学四年级要求。。。实际上小学四年级
还不能把 AMC 10 的 geometry word problem 把 word 画成图 (其背后是把 rule /
operation 给 decoding 成 objects),更不可能把 time problem 给 decoding 成
geometry problem 了。。。如果有这个 formal operation 能力的话,那用
kinematics 解球
面上 "每一圈升高一米" 就不会是个问题,因为那个是把 geometric measurement

另一方面,我觉得 Piaget 老先生的不要过分拔苗助长的观点是对的。。。因为如果
formal operation 不能掌握,但娃又要为了吃饭一定要出货的话,容易过早形成
schema 而过早固化在 concrete operation。。。个人看法。

个问题。。。说白了就是 baby analytic geometry 解 algebra 题。。。
但话说回来,analytic geometry 的基本概念,对娃而言,真是个坎。。。equation
of straight line 的基本概念搞了很久。。。

1. "Algorithms in Combinatorial Geometry" by H. Edelsbrunner;
This is an old and outdated book, but it still has something that you
cannot find in the two books you mentioned.
BTW: don't buy it, it is not worth that. just read it in library;
2. "Lectures on Discrete Geometry" by Jiri Matousek;
This is not in computational geometry but in combinatorial geometry, but
if you are interested in CG you might be interested in this book too.

Communications: Stochastic Geometry
Information Theory: Information Geometry
CV/PR/IP/CG等领域用到的Geometry也很多,当然这些算是和CS的交叉领域
Stochastics不说了,Communications/Signal Processing就是建立在这个基础之上的
按前苏联Kolmogorov的看法,Information Theory直接就是Probability Theory的一个
分支,和Ergodic Theory也关系紧密,Entropy是Ergodic Theory中的一个基本量
你说说CS的吧,呵呵 |

首先要从基础开始,数学都是从基础概念逐步建立起来的,
不可能上来就学functional analysis, Remainnien geometry, alegraic geometry 的
如果线性代数微积分还可以的话
我建议
第一阶段
先看 Rudin的数学分析,这是分析方面的
同时看一下 Dummite $ Foote 的 abstract algebra 这是代数方面的,试着做些练习题
看了这两本书后,大致算是入门了,应该对数学思维有感觉了
第二阶段
可以看 Foland 的 real analysis,
Gamelin 的 complex analysis
Munkres 的 topology, 只看点集合拓扑部分就可以
这是分析方面
代数方面,可以继续 Dummite $ Foote 的 abstract algebra
第三阶段
分析方面:Conway 的functional analysis
几何反面:随便找个讲manifold的就可以,我学这个是从广义
相对论里学的,
还有Remainnien geometry

段最大的问题,两个:
其一:是在 Formal Operation 阶段,没有考虑 Formal Operation 阶段的特点,照抄
小学阶段 Concrete Operation 的 spiral 教学法。这带来 (a) 教学进度太慢,教授
的基础知识太少,花太多时间在不必要的 spiral 上,(b) 在 Formal Operation 的
spiral 的循序渐进层面,也有问题。
这个原因是 Formal Operation 是有明显的阶段性和结构性的,而 spiral 的时候很难
越过阶段性和结构性的边界。举个例子就是:

in algebraic geometry. However, some people say"counts holomorphic map from
riemann surface to smooth algebraic variety over C". I think if you refer to
smooth algebraic variety over C, you should mean in algebraic geometry, but
then it should be "count the MORPHISM rather than HOLOMORPHIC MAP", because
morphism is polynomial map.Is it righ?
