determines to go elsewhere, I won't say no.“ 要不然也不会追着问那么多了
但是既然开了这个话题。顺便多灌几句。我觉得读大学，或者更广泛一点，受教育，并
不仅仅是为了找一份工作。不是说大学毕业能找到一份合适的工作，书就没有白读，时
间就没有白花。尤其在美国，读职高什么的出来当个水电工，挣的恐怕比一般大学毕业
的白领多，如果只是为一口饭吃，何必花钱读大学？
我觉得受教育的主要目的，是培养“人“。培养学习的能力，思考的能力，做决定的能
力，执行的能力，等等。而大学教育是其中重要的一部分。好大学和一般大学有一个重
要区别，就是你是跟来自全世界的优秀的人混在一起，还是跟一群本地普通人混在一起
（这个优秀与否，指的远远不止找工作挣钱的能力）。在这样或者那样的环境里熏陶四
年，人的长进是很不一样的。也许毕业的时候大家都能找到工作，但是回头再看，你读
职高的同学都挣了两三年高薪了。谁羡慕谁呢，到底读大学为了什么呢？
