每一场危机都会结束，虽然看起来前景黯淡，当前的金融危机终将过去。然而，没有一
种危机能够消逝得无影无踪，不留下任何后遗症。而这一次的遗留，最引人注目的将是

first get a feeling of ski/snowboard. Skydiving is the same, actually, it's
much more fun.
USPA对开始wingsuit jump练习的官方要求是 (SIM section 6-9.C)
Have a minimum of 500 freefall skydives; or a minimum of 200 freefall
skydives, made within the past 18 months.
USPA对BASE没有官方regulation. SIM中根本没提到BASE. 也许因为BASE不用飞机,而且
是小众里的小小众,所以USPA就不打算管了. 什么状态下跳,就看自己怎么觉得了. |

triple60上去后左转的一条黑道。起点附近有一个柱子，接近终点处有个不大不小的木
屋。两边都是树，滑道偏窄。应该是freefall，nose dive，revenge或者showoff之中的一个。
个人觉得最可能是nose dive，或者freefall。

Catskill四名山中，Hunter和Windham是高级滑雪度假村，配套设施齐全。尤其是人造
雪的开山祖师Hunter，世界上第一个拥有百分之百人造雪覆盖面积的雪场，大纽约地区
的滑雪爱好者中可谓无人不晓。相应的，它们也以人山人海著称。在Catskill滑雪的人
，有五成在H家，还有三成在W家。余下两成中，十之七八在纽约州的官方雪场
Belleayre。而排在末尾的Plattekill，便成了Catskill的秘宝。
Plattekill只是中型雪场，面积110英亩, 落差1100尺，比较独特的是，它的主要雪道
都是一黑到底，和近在咫尺的Belleayre正好相反。B家有独立的新手区，雪道宽阔，虽
然号称有1400ft的落差，但连他们家比较陡的双黑道也都在瞬间变成蓝道；这里一度被
评为整个东部最优秀的新手上路雪场。 而Plattekill，完全是一幅新手止步的样子。
两条两英里长，一边是悬崖的狭窄‘绿’道从山顶两边蜿蜒盘下，中间穿插着一条条坑
爹的'蓝'色Switchback，一不小心就能一往无回的拐上双黑。

fivethirtyeight.com的Nate Silver说，如果Trump赢得Amish人的支持，那么希拉里就
不可能在大选中胜出。一点背景：Amish人勤劳简朴，恪守传统，对使用现代化的机器
有很多限制，大部分人没有车。他们往年一般不参与太多政治，但是今年很多人愿意投
票，保卫传统价值观。
已经有宾州的朋友在支持Amish人，提供交通。但是是否其它州的朋友也可能行动呢？

go higher if their jump plane and airspace allow.
Depending on your exit altitude, you may get 40~60 seconds freefall time and
about 4~5 minutes canopy flight time. Usually, AFF opens at 5,500. Tandem opens
at 6,000. In free fall, your descent speed is about 5.5 second / 1000 feet.
Under canopy, that's about 1 minute / 1000 feet. |

freefall and one needs extra layers in the jumpsuite.
Last weekend, my hands were freezing above 9000 feet. Thanks god, they
warmed up at pull altitude.

发帖数: 1432 | 50 Neither glasses nor contact lens are problem. Lots of peopel jump with glasses, including me.
If you are doing first jump (tandem or AFF-I), the DZ should offer you a goggle. If not, ask for it.
If you are taking video and want to look cool. Skip the goggle. Wear contacts with sun-glasses. You may need a glasses holder in this case. Your voice can't be recorded in freefall. So if you want to say something, write it on your arms.
Wearing tennis shoes is probabely the only requirment from the DZ. |
