孰劣。我的记忆是，10年前，沈药和南药是中国医药管理局下面的学校，而北医，上医
，华西药学院是在卫生部下面。本人respect沈药和南药,因为那时学的药剂学课本是沈
药的顾学裘先生编写，药化课本是南药的彭司勋先生编写。但是自从这些大家退下来后
，沈药和南药在科研上的实力怎末样，就不清楚了。
从美国药学院的情况来看，药学院要强，要领头的话，一定要依附于一个好的综合大学
和一个好的医学院，UCSF就是一个典型的例子。从我自己稍微比较熟悉的PK和
formulation两个领域来看，PK要发展，肯定要做到clinical study, 那些理论啊，公
式啊总要用clinical data来验证。没有一个强的附属医学院，怎末行？今天的
formulation的发展方向之一是走polymer的路子，没有一个厉害的化学系做伴，怎么行
？Philadelphia College of Pharmacy 也是一个典型的例子。考古一下就知道：这是

delivery和formulation。很多号称是magic bullet。可是一旦这个formulation很复杂
的话，大规模生产的质量控制(QC)就很难。所以我认为10年内不会有大发展。除非在
delivery上有breakthrough.

job easily. For you, why not wait until you feel comfortable with your
family and meanwhile learn as much formulation as possible? I think organic
is fun but labor intensive, especially for MS level IMHO. Being a good mom,

不太重视，很多专利根本就没cover到中国去。而象印度，直到2005年才开始承认化合
物专利，至今仍不承认晶型专利，所以以前药厂干脆不在印度file专利，更别说巴西啊
，墨西哥啊之类的。
但是现在情况有了很大变化。各大药厂越来越把emerging markets当成救命稻草，而
biotech基本都是希望哪天都把自己卖了，所以有个好的专利portfolio很重要，所以现
在一个比较有市场前景的化合物，在全球一般都会有比较好的patent coverage，而不
是象以前，主要就是北美，欧洲和日本。
但是因为美国存在PTA (Patent term adjustment)和PTE（Patent term extension)，
欧洲存在SPC，日本也存在PTE，而且日本的PTE还适用于process专利，formulation专
利，这些乱七八糟的一算下来，全球的基本情况是：象非洲中东等等没啥专利保护的地
方，随便卖，然后是轮到中国，巴西，印度等等这些有专利保护但不存在PTE的地方，

formulation，几年下来
要独立负责做十几个不同的药的配方和工艺（每个药都是从preformulation一直做到
pivotal
batch)，跟做brandname的formulation不可同日而语，技术上的经验是不用质疑的。第
二个更侧
重管理上的经验，管人管钱，从搭试验室一直到生产都要负责或参与。不过，看来大家
都觉得还是第一
个工作经验更适合回国些。唉...... |
