发帖数: 141625 | 2 昨天看到leisure版网友贴杨宪益和hawkes的不同红楼梦译文想起来的，我把这俩的译
文也转过来，感觉杨宪益是直译，hawkes有点paraphrase的意思，英语更地道更
flowery，但诗的节奏韵味好像不足？老外会喜欢看hawkes版，杨宪益的比较plain，少
一点文质辞采。李欧梵看来更喜欢hawkes的译本，不过他没读过杨宪益的，只是对他的
翻译风格有不同意见，觉得他翻的鲁迅不够味，英国味道浓。我读杨宪益翻译的鲁迅，
也觉得和这些诗一样，缺一点感情。不过李欧梵对他俩的
学者作风都很推崇。

San Diego聖地牙哥這個城市，在距離LA南方約二小時車程的位置，如果住南
一些，一個多小時就會到，所以是一個蠻方便去玩的地方，當天就可以來回沒問
題，一般想到這個城市，最有名的就是San Diego是美國Biotech生化科技產業
最集中的一個中心，在旅遊上Zoo動物園和Sea World海洋世界也極為著名，這
個城市本身也非常值得一遊。從LA過去，走5號往南，在途中還有一個Outlets，
剛好可以休息一下，就是Carlsbad Premium Outlets，在Palomar Airport Rd下往
北就會看到，隔壁是The Flower Fields，有荷蘭風車和美麗的花田，每年春季開
花時就會開放，Early March through early May。1887年落成的Neimans Restaurant

关于《San Francisco》1967年6月16日-18日在蒙特利尔举行的《Summer of Love》流
行音乐节由mckenzie的挚友phillips负责编写主题曲。据说他只用不过1小时就灵感突
现，写曲成功，并交予scott mckenzie演唱。在蒙特利国际流行音乐节（Monterey
International Pop Festival）上一举成功。后来被当做《阿甘正传》的插曲而被广为
传唱。

Some websites show there are stigma and stamen in the same watermelon flower.
For example,
I am not sure if it is correct.
Please let me know what is the stigma part, and what is the stamen part,
if the female watermelon flower contains both.

female flowers with stigma.
What about your watermelon? |

Tomato flowers are stigma and stamen existing at the same flower.
So it doesn't need bees, but strong wind for pollination in natural
environment.
I use my electric brushtooth for pollinating tomato flowers.
It works great!
My method works for pepper too.

现在四岁。前段时间也特别喜欢说poopoo peepee的，离开幼儿园的时候就嬉皮笑脸
地给另一两个男孩子说byebye poopoo （peepee之类的音）,几个男孩子就以这种方式
互道再见，嬉笑打闹一团。我就禁止他说，最近不说了。
糟糕的是他给老师也这样说，我制止了之后，他就改口byebye little flower,老师笑
着说this is much better。他现在会跟陌生人聊天了。一次在地铁他跟一个白人胖大
妈聊了之后，分手时候说byebye little flower，当他说byebye的时候我心里一沉怕他
接着说出poopoo，结果是little flower，我一下松了一口气，心想白胖大妈一定心里
美着呢 |

自1952年以来，《纽约时报》书评版每年都会组建一个独立评审小组，挑选出时报最佳
儿童绘本。它以艺术价值为唯一标准，也是同类作品的唯一年度奖。

数的国家一样，虽然有很多丑陋的现象，但是他们是受害者。就
象这个犯罪集团里很多的人一样，他们来自各种种族，他们可能充当了工具，但他们不
