。一名业主需要购买的保险有多种，其中一项是水灾险。原则上人人需 要水灾保险，
但不是人人都能买水灾保险。只有加入国家水灾保险计划(NFIP)的社区内的房屋才能购
买NFIP的水灾保险。房屋所有人和租房者都可以买。 租房者只用买个人财产的水灾保
险。而房屋所有人必须有房屋保险才能买水灾保险，只买水灾保险是不可能的。在这里
可以查找您所在的社区是否加入NFIP。
在美国的保险业里，水灾的概念是指至少两英亩以上的土地或至少两座房屋被水或者泥
石流所淹。飓风、水位过高漫出防波堤、陈旧或者堵塞的排水系统、降雨过多过快排水
不及时、积雪融化排水不及时等都可能造成水灾。
水灾保险保房屋结构以及个人财产两部分，无下限，但是有上限。住宅结构最高限额$

下实在是兵多将广，要排下去，真得打一个星期。
利用周末专程飞到西岸打球。周末2天下午每天4个多小时，一共7场单打，最后临走前
还打了一个双打。最后打断了周5新上的线，然后直接飞回dc。到dc直接上班。
下午早溜了回来，现在才觉得浑身上下无处不酸痛。

newer houses have these on the celling . these are 15w ,replacement for

我这个水险花了一年的时间。把流水帐记下，希望对后人有点用。
很长 。。。 。。。
去年（2010）二月，看上了一个房，下了offer。头一次给SFH下offer, 就被accepted.

说银行的报告说不是flood zone。但我们自己问保险公司说是flood zone,appraisal上
也说是在flood zone。 FEMA 的地图是比较陈旧，是96年的，但2008 年county的
preliminary map上那个后院也是在flood zone的。 我们一度也想着如果银行说没问题
就行，但google一下，发现有好多例类似的案例，说贷款的时候银行没发现问题，没要
求flood insurance,过几个月/几年后突然给你发封信说发现你的房在flood zone， 要
求加上flood insurance。而且如果在flood zone 里，以后想申请permit建guest
quarter, garage, storage, porch etc 审批都特别严，而且那时还是要看FEMA地图为
