所以我就没花Flexible Health Funding的钱，等着付这笔钱。
这个看病的claim好像很长一段时间标明是pending，说是还在和医院negotiate。我就
此发email问过保险公司，没有答复。我也忙，没打电话问。昨天查，好像还是pending
，就又发了一封Email问这事。今天打电话给保险公司，顺便一看帐号，不是pending了
。而且还是标明我要付200多。保险公司叫我打电话给医院。
现在还没等到医院的bill。我觉得我的在Flexible Health Funding报销的deadline前
，把里面的钱pay完（注意，不是花完。我已经过了花完的期限了。）
于是我打电话到医院，医院说我只需要付90多，的确账单还没寄出。
我说你这不是耽搁我用Flexible Health Funding的钱吗？早知道我就花掉还剩下的100
块了。
对方说这个账单有时就是花1年半载的。
晕呀。我打电话过来过去的，花我手机钱，花我时间。我还要上班呀。

permanence” 角度看，并不是推迟和弱化背诵九九乘法表，而是过于弱化了 standard
algorithm（比如竖式加法开始）。
有争议的说，standard algorithm 以及 "flexible" standard algorithm (比如从
complete a square 到 chase triangles 等等)，是探索 “extended object-
permanence” 的正常道路。（就好比 peek-a-boo / hide-and-seek，都是 flexible
standard algorithm）。
其实我前面那个 “有意义的曲面”相交问题，用的是高中物理矢量分解合成的 "
flexible" standard algorithm。我个人觉得 "flexible" standard algorithm 是中
小学数学物理教育最薄弱的环节之一。“构建式教育” 不应该 downplay 那些

早上九点到下午四点时core business hour，随便你怎么迟到早退，九点到四点(出去lunch break）人必须在公司里。然后公司有个suggested working hours，不要早于七点，不要晚于六点。中午州政府规定，45分钟mandatory lunch break。
每人每周工作四十小时，flexible hours不能carry over to the next week。怎么

ligaments all that much, unless you have really short muscles to begin
with. Stretching the tendons is fine but don't go overboard and put
too much stress on your ligaments, because it could hurt your joint
stability.
Stretching can elongate muscles and prevent injuries, and

overcome. I am somewhat happy that I am not as flexible as some of my
classmates, who can twist their bodies into all kinds of weird shapes.

我是发现现在的学生迟到的越来越多了，迟到很让人讨厌，尤其我在上面讲课，每个几
分钟进来一个人，实在是影响教课的心情了。7年前我开始教课的时候，在美国最laid-
back的一个州，都没有像现在在美国最competitive的地方学生迟到的多。
但是话要说回来，如果迟到是有特别原因，lz应该网开一面。人家家里有小孩，还来上
学，这是多大的一个commitment阿。你这种policy,不仅要被家里有困难的学生骂，其

你对Behavioral Question的答案一般来说不会成为对方雇用你的原因，但却很有可能
称为对方拒绝你的原因。我有一个技术很牛的朋友，找工作的时候换工作有点频繁，大
概前面每个公司都只待了一年。结果对方在问他为什么这次又是要在一年之后换工作的
时候，他很实在的说了一些对现在工作不满意的地方，结果导致了悲剧。其实只要稍微
在给出答案的时候注意一点点，就完全可能拿到offer。
一般来说，我觉得在Behavioral Question方面主要应该注意以下几点：
1）不要说negative的comment，特别是对自己以前的工作
比如，几乎每一个公司的面试都会有人问“Why do you want to leave your current
company?” 这是一个很open的问题，绝对没什么标准答案。但我觉得，无论你离开的
