虽然现代手枪一般都有撞针弹簧和撞针保险，使得撞针被卡住的可能性大大降低。但是
只是大大降低，并非没有可能。
设想如果因为锈蚀或者严重污垢导致撞针在击发子弹后不能复位（撞针弹簧不足以克服
阻力），那么撞针保险也无能为力，下一发上膛的时候，很有可能导致意外击发。
考虑slam fire的危险性，还是无击锤的striker fired手枪更安全，因为每打完一发子
弹，撞针都会被阻铁强制复位，如果撞针被卡死不复位，整个套筒都会被阻铁挡住而不
能闭锁。slam fire的可能性几乎为零。
步枪也是一样，栓式步枪没有击锤，靠撞针平移击发，每次上膛的时候，撞针都会被阻
铁挡住，不可能发生slam fire |

发帖数: 497 | 4 最近看hk的LEM挺火的，看了下原理介绍：LEM拉套筒时，会先压下hammer spring
，但不会cock击锤；你正常扣动扳机击发时，因为上膛时hammer spring已经预先
cocked，你只需要克服Trigger Return Spring, Firing Pin Block Spring, Cocking
Piece Spring，此时扳机力和SA时候一样，很小，大约4.5lbs(light version)或者
8lbs(heavy version)。
但是LEM死火后补射，扣动扳机击发的过程，需要克服Trigger Return Spring,
Firing Pin Block Spring, Cocking Piece Spring，还要克服hammer spring，此时扳
机力会很重，大约20lbs。
死火后补射功能虽然不常用，但是可以在dry fire时候，无需拉套筒，练下double
tap，省时省力；但是这时候LEM大约20lbs扳机力显然无法爽快玩double tap。

上周聊天，还在高兴的跟我说马上就提交H1B的申请，结果昨天下午他的部门经理直接
把他fire了。早上一大早来，看见HR的女同事在哭，我问她怎么了，才听她说被fire的
那个印度人今年是第二年OPT，不能再延期，现在找工作办H1B太晚了，估计只能回印度
了。那个部门经理给的理由是bad performance，大家都觉得那也应该提前说，好让人
家找工作，这下真是。。。。哎。。。。月初他还在说人手不够，招的新人下个月才来
面试，要是觉得人家表现不好，干嘛不去年fire呀。。。。 |

发帖数: 69 | 24 劳工的位置被terminated(老板的原话)。老板给了WRITTEN NOTICE FOR UNSATISFACTORY PERFORMANCE. 请问这是指被fired 了吗？还是laid off?
老板找劳工过去的时候列了一大堆罪状，明确告诉我劳工要
take penalty。说会找其他人来顶替他的职位。
就是因为知道FIRED很严重，所以很担心有这个污点，劳工以后都不好找工作了。
另外以后面试别的工作，别人问起来，该怎么说呢？就说自己被FIRED了？请教大家了。
还有，这个职位是到1月份到期。如果在到期之前面试别的工作，别人问起来，也要说是因为将要被FIRED吗？我以为可以不用说。但是我劳工认为还是应该说的，不然别人也会打电话跟现在的老板核实。
如果是被FRIED，那么我们是不是也领不到失业金了？

拿到了新的offer.上周五跟上司说辞职。刚开始，他没有生气。但是公司的ceo （西班
牙人，对中国人不友好）很生气。说只做了3个月，走的话很不好。ceo跟我的中国人上
司谈，他们谈了之后，我的上司就变得很生气了。我知道我的上司很在乎ceo的话，ceo
认为我这样不对，他也会这么认为。今天上司狠批了我一通，说辞职也不交辞职信，等
等，就是以前的好权都不记得了，现在是做什么错什么。说要fire我，说以后做
reference，肯定不说我好话。
我这周一正式resign得,他今天又要fire。这样的话，我是resign还是被fire了？以后
新公司做background check的时候，会不会record是被fire了？这样影响很不好。
我打算以后的简历上肯定不会列这3个月的经历。也不会让这个中国人上次作
reference。这样会不会好些？刚入职场，什么都不懂。为什么感觉中国人中的manager
都对下级国人很mean啊？反而看到了白人和颜悦色。 |

improvement plan。虽然现在下家还没找好，但这个公司的工作环境实在是摧残，商量
之后决定辞职。公司员工手册上没有说辞职要求多长时间的notice，但是公司同时规定
如果不提前两礼拜通知辞职的话vacation time是不折算成钱发给员工的。
ld本打算辞职给两个礼拜notice把vacation拿到，但是同时也担心在这两个礼拜之内被
fire。我们搜索了一下at will的工作公司完全可以在你辞职之后立刻fire你，而且也
有好多人说他们有类似的经历。听说如果被fire的话以后找工作会有麻烦，ld说要不索
性不给notice算了。
我们也考虑过辞职之后notice period直接take vacation，但是还是担心在vacation的
时候公司fire。
有没有有经验的朋友能给个建议在这种情况下怎么做比较好，或者有过类似的经验可以
给我们参考下？我们实在是有点进退维谷。。。。。。。 |

到过问是不是党员的，还没见过问有没有被fire的。现在走人那么多，本来fire和lay
off的界限就很模糊。performance不好老板看不中的就是借lay off的机会让你走人呗
。如果职位eliminated，当然很可以说是lay off；可是也有很多人是走了原职位还重
新填人的，明摆着就和fire没两样。下家才不会管你那么多呢。除非你是因为什么特殊
原因（比如harassment，盗窃公司财物和行业机密）被fire的。performance不达标走
人太常见了，一般不会影响后面找工作。 |

原来用Playbook, 除试结果对FIRE很失望，等我在用两周再贴个详细的体会。主要用
途：看书(主要技术类，也看少量小说)，看专业文章和专利，听audiobook，原来是
要看电影的，不过亚麻的prime的免费电影实在没什么好看的了
Playbook不能听audible.com的书，但是看文献很好用，比FIRE对眼睛舒服，触摸控
制很好，很自然。特别推荐Playbook的video chat，免费的video phone，推荐给有
WIFI要打长途的同学
初步的感觉是playbook设计的目标是精品，FIRE就是个膀亚麻大款的村姑。可惜，
双方都成功了。 |

我本打算下个月主动和系主任说要走了, 因为另外一个学校已经给了口头offer,正在
negotiate....
真不好意思问这个问题....大家感觉学校会因为这个就马上fire人么, 目前有四门课还正在上....他们fire我后,课也就马上自动
取消了吧....
