冬至前后，正是一年里日头最短的时节。为了把每日游玩时间最大化，我们秉承日出而
作、日落也不息的作风，每天踩着旅馆开始供应早饭的点吃饭，就着7点半左右的第一
缕日光开始一天的行程。今天是Arches NP。早上从住的旅馆出来，车窗上结了厚厚一
层霜，日出前室外大概有零下十几摄氏度。忘记带刮车窗的东西了，钻进去暖了好一阵
子车。Arches就在我们住的小镇Moab边上，圣诞节的早上，镇上唯一的一条主街冷冷清
清，只有几盏单薄的彩灯高高的挂在路灯上，装点着不甚浓郁的气氛。整条街除了旅馆
、饭店，就是提供各种户外活动的商店。穿过街道，路的右边很快就是进Arches的大门
。沿着山路开了一小段，第一个观景点俯瞰的是脚下贯穿Moab而过的HWY 191。这里是

D4 如果一天都在Canyonlands的话建议加一两个trail。推荐False Kiva（如果你们能
找得到路线），Deadhorse Point去一下也不错，不过要$10的state park门票
D5 Fiery Furnace需要去visitor center拿permit，提前7天开始领，先到先得。如果
拿到permit，Fiery Furnace和Devil's Garden建议选其一，这样可以保证时间和体能
上Delicate Arch。
D6-D8 Wave的抽签是抽后一天的，即D6抽到D7才能去，D7抽到D8才能去，D8再去抽就没
有意义了因为你当天就走了。有一个例外是如果前一天抽完还有剩的，第二天早上可以
去抢当天去，但是对Wave来说这种情况很罕见，旁边的Coyote Buttes South有可能出
现剩票，但是需要四驱车，路很难开。 |

ARCHES是小驴最喜欢的国家公园之一。园中奇异的地形地貌给摄影师提供了丰富的创造
空间。ARCHES里面最有名的景观恐怕就是DELICATE ARCH，就是UTAH州车牌上那个，出
镜率不逊老忠实。个人还推荐FIERY FURNACE RANGER GUIDED HIKE，要提前到
VISITOR CENTER预约，里面地形复杂，没有RANGER很容易走丢。途中会路过很窄的石
缝，仅容一人的石洞（OPTIONAL）等等，网上推荐参加日落前的那一批，因为日落柔和
的光线打在石林上，会很有层次。
