今年最喜欢的书是george saunders的小说集tenth of december (最喜欢的是书里最后
一篇的同名小说；也在new yorker上登过)；今年最喜欢的电影是american hustle,
gravity还有一代宗师；最喜欢的歌是网络大俗歌what does the fox say?!

研究中国文化，有许多使人头大的错综现象，其中一个，就是婚姻中的“两头大”
。
《古今小说》卷十八“杨八老越国奇逢”中檗妈妈说：“如今我女儿年纪又小，正
好相配官人，做个两头大。”《醒世姻缘》第七十六回就有“狄希陈两头娶大”。这种
现象，它的历史背景又何在呢？
《史记》（五帝本纪）中说唐尧看中虞舜，“妻之以二女，观其德于二女。舜饬下
二女于她们，如妇礼。”照《列女传》所说，这二女姐姐叫娥皇，妹妹叫女英。从《史
记》文字上看，虞舜讨来这对姐妹花，姐妹两个的地位是平等的。虽然“尸子”上说姐
姐是妻、妹妹是媵（陪嫁）。但《晋书》（礼志）引侍中博士张恽的话，说：“昔舜不
告而娶，婚礼盖阙，故‘尧典’以厘降二女为文，不殊嫡媵。”明说姐妹是不分大小的
。姐妹地位如果是平等的，那么这自然是一种“两头大”。
“两头大”就是不分妻妾，而是没有小老婆、全是大老婆之意。（或是全是小老婆
、没有大老婆之意。）春秋时代，已屡见不鲜。陈顾远《中国婚姻史》说：
晋献娶于贾，烝于齐姜（收继为婚），又娶二女于戎，复得骊姬，且有其娣，此并
