还顺便去附近看了一亿万富翁朋友的豪宅，这老兄也不知是什么品味，城里上亿美金的
豪宅，可郊外这房子却完全没城里那个那么有档次。城里市价6800万左右，市郊这个居
然是一周边几十万的房子围着的一块几百万的湖景老房子。不过地真大，他家独占一块
突出到湖里去的角。
对了，这富翁咱也没啥直接联系，就沾他华裔老婆的光而已。这家伙钱对他真只是个数
字，城里的townhouse装修全部是名家设计，从法国把做好的东西直接运过来的，装修
费三千多万呀。家里的装修上了纽约著名的设计杂志，还成了经典案例。
Prestige离他家很近，就十来分钟车程。
这个dealer是我见到东部最大的，和他家比BMW bayside真的连孙子都算不上，各种现
车有多少都无法估算，几眼都望不到边。
运气比较好，一去就在他家正门口找到泊车位了。然后一进大堂就找对人了，prestige
的接待直接给介绍给了在一旁等待的BMW员工。核对信息，登记后，就给了个ULTIMATE

如果是research school，虽然主要看publication，但是还是会在意teaching
experience的吧？而且如果publication又不是特别的impressive的话。。。如果是

之前求职时经常来这里取经。现在也力所能及提供 referral. 只 refer software
engineer new grad 或者相关 (test, PM 类的 referral). 要求 experience 的工作
不适合找我推荐，建议大家去找内部同样组的人去推。
另外也可以内推 intern。 不过2015 summer 的 intern 现在人数已经很多了。但是大
家不妨试一试。
如果刚入职一两年，想跳槽的也可以找我 refer.
总之需要value experience 的请不要。我可以 refer，但是效果未必好。
1. 全职工作：new grad BS/MS. Major in CS/CE (or related)
2. intern : 各种专业在读的 BS（大三大四）、MS、PhD student (前1-3年） 都可以
。 也有针对大一大二的 CS 学生的 intern. 可以联系，但是这个复杂一些。
3. 特别着急的请不要。我做不到收到简历当天瞬间refer。我一般要几天的时间。希望大

我在国内工作过，但那是8年前啦，当时离开公司也不是很愉快。
supervisor早就不联系了。
这个能不能找同事写封信就行了，签个明。那个工作和现在的
工作没有相关性，也不需要打perm的时候写说需要工作经验。

experience because I was on F-1! We do have the letter to prove my phD
research is outstanding, but he only counts my phd years as half time (about
1.5 yr) and asked me to get work certification from China to prove my
experience there.
I have never heard of that! Just don't know how to persuade him. Any
suggestion? |
