Barrier which blocks heat radiation transfer between ceiling and roof. The
quote (include materials and labor) for 1300 sft ceiling area he gave me
is about $3K discounted from regular $4K. Does Radiant Barrier work? Is

不为别的，就是要提醒诸位要做贷款吸取我的教训。此公姓柯名正，洋名James，经常
在新泽西的中文报纸上登大幅人头广告。我的贷款申请在他那儿拖了2个多月，最后还
是没有做下来。其中的故事太多了，说起来要气死人。
1）一开始此公非常客气，和蔼可亲，娓娓道来，给了一个非常诱人的rate，加上
cashback。看了我的材料，拍胸脯说没问题，然后详细解释为什么我的背景如此过硬，
为什么他这么肯定没问题，还说他这个月做了多少多少像我一样的贷款。说得我心花怒

I moved in "xxxxxxxx"
last fall. No official contract, only a piece of paper. Here I would suggest
when you sign a contract, have a witness, check all the furniture conditions
and write them down, take pictures, let your future landlord know. Put

who applied H1b also got his visa. Here is my own experience.

know that sometime it is just unfair for some people to be checked only
because of the subject they selected. And sometime there are some other reason
that people got stucked in Mexico. I sincerely wish that all of them could get
their visa soon and return their normal life in the States.

your trip. 2 PIs did not pay me, 4 paid me. Those 2 thrifty PIs suck. Can you
imagine such mean bosses can attract smart postdoc to their labs. I visited
their labs. The bosses and labs were so bad. The PIs were not easygoing and
distant. The lab environment was not very nice. One even has 4 indian postdocs
