店面过两次，direct manager和大老板，感觉都不错，现在问我工资的expecteed
range然后决定要不要安排我on site。在外地，将来可以有relocation。怎么答比较保
险？工作我非常喜欢，不想在工资上吃亏，但也不想因为这个丢掉机会。给他个大
range?salary.com上的range准么？现在我的情况positive么？多谢！ |

招new grads，没有工作经验，不能马上上手干活，需要时间train，所以一般都不会招
太多
招工作经验<=1年的，第一对于忠诚度有一定的怀疑，第二对于工作经验有了一定的
expecation，如果还是new grad的水平，还不如招new grad呢，起码白纸一张
招工作经验2－3年的，很多人在工作就是打杂，没做过什么正经八百的项目，或者工作
经验也不一定对口
招3-5年工作经验的，就要上很多system design了，希望design的能力很强
招5年工作经验以上的，就要另外看有没有leadership了
所以如果大家面试没成功，根据自己的工作年限可以对照一下，看看有没有什么可以改
善一下的。另外面试成功拿到大offer的，也一般是发挥了自己工作经验的优势的。根
据我的观察，能够满足招人方expecation的还是少数。 |

2。一个从Minisota来的成绩优异一路高大上上来的男孩去的PISA也高高在上的韩国（
其实上海新加坡更牛，但作者说，我们只研究develped domocratic国度）
3。一个从Pitsburg来的文科男生去的波兰，受到了严重的数学鄙视/shock

and resource. If you research needs funding to purchase instruments, working
at a lesser Univ will make if harder and you might not find too much
avalaible resource around. That is a big issue and not to mention student
quality (an AP might not find ANY PhD student to work for him since there is
only few around.) So, the bottom line is to make sure there is resource for
you to do research and they have a reasonable expec |

技术难题，还是希望你不仅仅是说说大方向，希望你真正写出SOLUTION的。如果几次写
不出，估计就被MANAGE OUT了。另外一方面，真的很多东西，一年和五年，有时候差别
真不大。这可能也就是马工这个行业的局限吧，所以希望在还能折腾的时候，能折腾一
把有希望退休的机会，否则年纪在大点，如果还没成为每个领域的权威（不考虑管理方
向），只是做GENERAL CODING，感觉还真不太妙。 |

但希望别人的小孩如果没注意到, 类似的事被提醒一下能听话,
这是realistic expectation.
