有移民员工的场所。
1月10日，ICE突然对全美98家7-Eleven便利店进行检查，逮捕了21名非法移民员工，其
中包括16家纽约的连锁店。
ICE国土安全调查项目主任助理艾伦（Matthew Allen）上周又对NPR电视台说：“1月10
日的执法行动不会是最后一次，在2018年还会有。”他说，他们给非法移民的信号是“
如果你是非法的，你需要离开美国”；他们的抽查也不仅仅限于7-Eleven连锁店，其它
饭店或者商店等工作场所都包括，“我们会去任何给我们情报或者证据的地方”。
但是，ICE去移民的工作场所并不一定去抓人，或许只是去向雇主要求一些文件，如果

做seminar的那个时候，我介绍说如果用算盘作数学的 manipulatives，
不管你是从高位向低位加，还是低位往高位加，都不可能凭空多出一位。
那就会避免这个 Dyscalculia 问题。
其实这个思考还不够深刻。
后来我认识到的是————英语，没错，就是英语，才是罪魁祸首。
在中文里面，数字就是一到十。
超过了十，就是两个数字了，自然而然就有了“位”的概念。
而英语里面，从 one 到 twelve 都是独立的*一*个词。

和twelve还有点12进制的影子的话，那么thirteen, fourteen, fifteen,
sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen根本就是非常规则的十
进制。另外你说到twenty, thirty似乎还有一点点道理,尽管傻子也能知道
thirty的前缀thir就是表示数字“三”的意思。 而且别忘了后面的forty,
fifty, sixty, seventy, eighty, ninety,也是非常规则的。
我觉得很奇怪，搞幼儿教育难道就非得纠住从一到十二这十二个数字不放么？
一个孩子从一到十这十个数字必须死记住，难道多了eleven和twelve这么俩

捐來幫助這里的人。爸爸在展示牌上貼了一些孩子們的照片，他們的眼睛都盯著你看，
臉上泥跡斑斑，曬得又黑又髒。一眼就看的出來他們一無所有，而在我們圣馬力諾，我
