发帖数: 19 | 2 毕业已经好几年了，一直在大农村学校教课，但是不是tenure-track。
现在想找工业界的工作，主要是经济/金融/研究机构（本身背景是macro economics,
international trade），简历投了好久也没有动静。简历找了业界的人帮改，意见就
是学校里的工作经验看起来平淡无奇，就是教课，做一些研究，不能写出什么“增加了
产值”“提高了业绩”之类的经验来。不知道有没有从学术界转到业界的人，给点意见？
过去的几个月一直就是海投，不知道怎么吸引recruiter。有专门的recruiter网站吗？
经济/金融/研究机构类工作有什么好的网站或者中国人互助群吗？

去投行或者咨询公司作intern, 都去哪个部门，我看比如morgan stanley summer
associate program 都有equity research ( 里面还分company and industry research
, investment strategy, economics) ；fixed income; Investment banking; 经济系的
phd一般去哪个部门，都看哪方面的能力（哪种研究能力，都做些什么呢。
如果是世界银行这种研究机构呢。

2008年J1在10月转了H1B，也不知填1040NR还是1040？填Dural status 好麻烦，等

填好呀？
还有J2（H4 ）的学费，若是填1040NR就不能有减税，是这样吗？困惑中。。。

今年在填schedule M 的时候问是否收到过economic recovery payment in 2009, 请问这
两个是一回事吗？ 如果是，为什么后者的数额是500？
我们既没有收到过500的支票，也没有在工资上有如何体现，是不是就没有收到过。
