一般来讲，一个客户端软件要访问服务器（比如FTP CLIENT想访问FTP SERVER），只要在
CLIENT知道帐号即可。
稍微复杂一点的，比如MYSQL CLIENT访问MYSQL SERVER，除了知道用户名口令之外，
SERVER还
会检查CLIENT的主机名，以确定是否允许访问。
但WINDOWS REMOTE WMI ACCESS CONTROL的设计脑残，叹为观止。
假设你的CLIENT作为WINDOWS SERVICE运行在HOST A上，打算访问HOST B的WMI数据。

1. 从一个clock domain 往另一个clock domain传数据， 中间使用了用两个flipflop
连在一起做的synchronizer, 可是实际destination接收到的data可能是错误的，比如
1000 传过去， 实际收到的是1001 , 这个问题怎么解决？
2. 是从快的clock domain 往慢的Clock domain传数据 问题更不容易解决 还是从慢的

yeast 2 hybrid system是两个蛋白之间的binding
yeast 1 hybrid是蛋白质和DNA之间的binding ，就象ras说的，测出的是bait和
fragment之间的结合，可以象ras说的那样fragment是library, 来找和已知蛋白
结合的特定element，也可以特定的fragment，转cDNA library进去，找和这个
fragment 结合的蛋白。 （infact that's what I did)
回来说2hybrid。transcriptional factor一般至少有两个domain: binding domain
和activition domain. binding domain binds to DNA elements, while activation
domain activates the transcription of downstream genes. 我们要测试蛋白A

所以现在有此困惑，因为实际工作中，觉大多是时间是花在其实很BORING的，需要熟练
的东西上面，任何一个新的DOMAIN，要想精通，没5年是下不来的。所以就是很奇怪，
所以如果做的DOMAIN，用的工具和以前不一样，对公司来说，其实HIRE一个NEW GRAD和
一个有别的DOMAIN十年经验的人，其实差别不大。特别是现在很多STARTUP，基本就是
要FULL STACK ENGINEER，有时候光做个UI就搞得累死。
我本人也是IT的，做一个决得BORING的DOMAIN，一年20W左右，基本是工作闭着眼睛就
能做，但也没可能发财和上升空间。最近想在试试别的，觉得根本就是世道大变，本人

and 4 in the range；发的打印的note上面是domain value 3, range value 2 and 4
；写的笔记上是domain 3, range 2, 4；作业里面小孩写的domain 3, range 2,4,我说
要写domain value, range value，小孩说老师这么说的。我拿出书和打印的笔记，小
孩说老师确实是那么说的。第二天（就是今天）考试，我说你考试的时候要写domain
value, range value，今天一问，考试的时候这么写了，可是考试前老师讲作业，还是
讲的domain 3。所以不可能是记错，要么老师讲错，要么小孩说谎。不过确实不爱说谎
，而且这事也没必要说谎。 |

顺便做点结晶和核磁，mapping作用位点。我第三年下了。
Rotation 的时候做一个真核信号通路蛋白的A domain（这也是老板postdoc做的
domain），是个很好纯化的蛋白，做的还行，有个coauthor的paper（师兄一作，4分左
右，话说我觉得实验室就这个水平了）。
加入实验室之前，另外一个rotation的学生做B和C蛋白，是原核的信号通路。当时
我感觉我加入实验室是不就做这个了。结果老板让我先做D和E， 顺便做原来的真核蛋
白的F domain，理由是应用的技术是一样的，要charaterize的蛋白性质也是相同的。
这是实情。这个时候有个小的grant, 关于蛋白BCDE的。结果我第二年冬天发现F
domain太大，不好做。而D和E表达起来比较困难，不可溶。加上B和C合作者有genetics
的data，所以就做了点这个。之后回国，春天回来做助教，上课考qualify，几乎春季

界，想说两句。
出海钓鱼的人知道，海鸥积聚的地方通常鱼比较多。烙印某种程度上很像海鸥，充斥烙
印的行业基本上是排名很靠前的行业(IT, 金融等，医生律师也不少）。相反，学术界
的烙印比老中要少很多。

我不反对去软件公司上班
诚然精美的中小程序软件在家里是可以自娱自乐的，但是一些比如scalability相关的
问题只有在实际应用上才有动力去思考和有财力去解决
我的point was: IT可以给人一个基本的上路的自由, 这个上路的自由比别的行业领域
大几个数量级
在软件企业上班可以接触到新问题和新想法诚然好，但是即使不去软件企业工作，自己
在家里仍然可以保持自己的IT专业能力向更高发展，有这个发展空间。而其他科技行业
离了雇主 我就没了这个自由
软件以后要和具体行业联系，除了构建一个信息基础设施的作用之外. 如果更多更好的
framework工具出现，有一天，开发这些信息基础设施的效率会更高, 软件作为一个专
业 边界变模糊. 分化成2个部分，一部分是开发软件工具和框架，另一部分是在软件
工具基础上解决行业domain问题（这也提高了对行业专家的要求）， 我是觉得现在很
多IT工作是介于这2者之间, 这个目前就业量最巨大的中间地带以后可能会大大缩减,
优秀的程序员转移去做会编程的domain专家是没有任何问题的（而无法培养起编程能力
