分裂我们(he will not divide us)。这个项目计划一直搞下去,搞到床总任期
结束(或者被弹劾下台)为止。
直播对所有人都开放,所有的人都可以去摄像头现场,所有的人也都可以在网上看到直

福特的bed cover有软硬两类,如果有东西要经常放在后面,建议选择硬的cover。我刚
买了辆F350,说给你参考一下,350的硬cover只有两种选择,我选了最好的那种,把
vin #给dealer,定制和车子喷漆一样的bed cover,大约2周左右制作,加安装费共
2000刀,据dealer说150的便宜一些,估计1200~1500左右吧。这种硬cover是向上打开
,可以上锁,和车身一样颜色,很漂亮,不加的时候,看着就是pick up truck,加上
以后,跟超大型的SUV或family truck类似。
优点很多,缺点只有一条,就是打开时候只有40度,所以车后箱放不了大的东西。我是
拿来当日常commute的车,所以符合要求,你要考虑一下。
另外,还有几种hard cover,一种是三块拼板,也可以上锁,颜色不能定制,可以完全
打开,还有一种是roll up形式,可上锁和完全打开。
另外,bed内防止东西滑动的,amazon上很多,可是只有这款好用,其他的都太弱了。
多买几个,再从店里买几个那种洗衣服的大型塑料box,在后箱门那里放两个,用

SLB的机会可以说是从天上掉下来的。2月初在学校的career fair随便投的简历,当时
还很囧的在不知情的情况下插了队。被HR指出,虽然她还是收了我的简历,但前后就说
了一分钟,问了一下什么时候毕业找全职还是兼职,场面很尴尬。当时以为自己没戏了
,不过本来在career fair上投的简历就没戏(在美的同学们应该都知道),所以也没
往心里去。没想到三周后的周三受到了SLB的邮件说要周五给个campus interview。面
试半个小时,基本都是behavior questions。这是我来美国的第一个英文面试,之前从
没准备过这种问题,所以赶紧自己就是去积累经验的,根本没想过能否进入下一轮。但
还是很认真的准备了一下,问实验室面过的人,又找了个白人朋友帮我做mock

楼主在圣诞旅行的过程中收到了Facebook 的 Intern offer。拿到了dream offer, 加
入了 dream group,也意味着这半年找工作的过程暂时告了一个段落。
回想这半年,做为一个高年级的Ph.D. 来说,花半年的时间刷题找工作,真心不易。其
实自己找工作的时候从版上收益良多,所以也抱着回报和感恩的心情,也把自己找工作
的经历和教训做一个总结。希望对后人有用。
先说说自己的背景。一般大学CS Ph.D, 研究编程模型和并行计算。第五年phd,之前有
两次在非CS的大公司实习的经历,但不是software development intern。组里以前
毕业的师兄大都去了国家实验室和硬件公司,还没有人去过FLAG。
结果:
投了Facebook, Google, Amazon, LinkedIn,都是找人内推。Facebook 找了大牛校友
内推,最后很快拿到了面试。Google 找版上的国人大哥内推的,也很快拿到了内推。

income tax, divident tax等不同税。
怎么花心思算来算去合适确实有讲究,但是大体irs在设置时都差不多。按我的理解总
结一下,假设都是自己一个人的公司:
C corp--公司净收入先付company income tax,剩下的以divident给我自己,divident
税大约是15%
S corp--公司净收入可以完全直接"transfer"到我personal income,按照personal
income rate交税。这个要看你当前的personal income tax rate而定,假设都不超过
限定高收入rate的话,这个至少也要在30% 以上。
而C corp可以有两种选择 |

店里没找着,没想到后来他主动过来告诉我网上有,名字就叫Legal Exhibit Divider,
看人家这说明,“Designed to meet federal, state and local requirements”。这
样就不用自己贴tab了,而且还可以做divider. 目前好像只有office depot网上有卖空
白的,自己打印了标签,就可以贴了。

面这个, 可以随时打印出固定宽度,变化长度的标签,字体可调,还可以解决有 |

内容,另外我有用document divider,每页上都打印了label贴在divider上简单说明这
个Exhibit的内容。最后如果有的Exhibit内容太多,我还做了一个目录,包括内容和页
码(比如review的paper#1在哪一页等等),这个目录放在divider后面第一页,页码都
是用Acrobat编辑的。 |

用标签将每一类分开,最后用大号binder clip夹住。
但我的paper和citation是单独用小号binder clip夹住,然后在放在一起,再用大号
binder clip夹住。另外,Exhibit之间,我都放了一个divider.也就是说,Divider 1(
标上Exhibit 1),下属的材料,用小标签标上(1.1; 1.2...);Divider 2(标上
Exhibit 2),下属的材料,用小标签标上(2.1; 2.2...).....这样Exhibit和小标签
就很容易分开。 |

标 题: 梁警官被起诉证明黑人严重低估了华人

这次梁警官被起诉,网上的白人约80%都认为他被起诉是因为他是亚裔。说明很多美国
白人还是有正直心敢于说出来的。可是加拿大白人漠不关心,评论很少,1%都不到为梁
说话。然后美国黑人,最开始只有1%认为梁被起诉是因为他的亚裔身份。到今天大约增
加至30%。
不管怎么样吧,这个事件从网上那些黑人的表现看来,他们其实很不够聪明,因为他们
远远低估了华人这个群体可能带给他们的威胁。他们认为,华人是个绝对无抵抗,任人
宰割的群体。所以,尽管他们对主流斗争经验丰富,对什么“divide and conquer”等
等主流社会对少数民族的杀手锏手段都悉数能详,可是他们认为,跟华人就是divided
也没有什么恶果,华人根本不会那他们怎么样。
可是他们没有算计到的是,如果白人主流想要华人怎么样呢?华人未必见得就不会没有
