小时候一次训练中偷懒在游泳池底去拿FILTER的大盖子玩， 大概２０－３０LB。 带着
一个圆的玉， 没想到玉居然卡在盖子里。 线太短玉拿不下来， 盖子太重也提不出水
面， 一紧张一口气吐出来脑袋里就浮现去死亡差点就这样淹死， 还好冷静下来钻下去
慢慢解开了玉。
在游泳池和河里和海里根本天差地别。 游泳池里２５ YARD的游泳池１英里我不费
力３０－３５分钟。 可是水线一拿掉绕着池边不登池壁不转身模拟ocean swimming连
续４０分钟几乎虚拖更别说在海里有浪和暗流。
总之会在游泳池游泳不是个事。 现在的会游泳和以前的识水性也是两码事, 淹死的都
是会游泳的,只知皮毛才是最容易挂在水里的。 Swimming in a pool, river swimming

己决定， 不应该你给他掐死了。
水上的安全，救援， 生还其实在DIVING CLASS里教的很多， 所以要教小孩子游泳我很
建议学完游泳去学diving.
忘记说不学游泳的好处了
女孩可以问我和你妈都掉水里的问题。

的警示牌。你听好了：Diving 是指头部冲下的跳水姿势，通常是专业游泳队员用的。
Jumping是头上脚下的入水。小孩子们玩的。浅水区diving（不会跳水的人在深水区）
头会很快触底，相当危险。jumping 就没有安全问题。 在泳池岸上奔跑和蹦跳都是不
允许的， 同样是出于安全原因。我看你一家四口都是旱鸭子，还是花钱让你的宝贝儿
子们上游泳班吧。下次见到被你河东狮吼的三个孩子和家长给人家道个歉， 否则你这

发帖数: 22634 | 25 俺个人觉得，MOEMS divE 对于扑通班四年级和四年级以上的娃，只要娃愿意试，先拿
来就做。。。如果娃做不下去了，或者做完但是做错了，大人再来解释。
俺个人觉得，MOEMS divE，学数学知识不是重点。重点是（1）学知识以前先 try try
，（2）以有兴趣不苦鼻的姿势练 list (as the order of decision tree) & check。
不要小看上面那个（2）。那个对扑通蛙很重要。。。俺一年前教娃 permutation /
combination，没教下来。但前两天就行了。。。最大的差别就是，P(4,3) 现在娃很快
就把 24 个按顺序列出来了，并且找出前两种的 6 个重复。一年前想都不要想。。。
另外现在娃也开始理解 "invisible seat", "combination + full permutation =>
partial permutation" 这种两级逻辑。。。这些对天才牛蛙可能一点问题都没有，但
对扑通蛙就是得练习学习才能搞明白。。。我觉得俺家这些，至少有一大半是 MOEMS
的功劳。。。

发帖数: 10908 | 26 单单技术上而言，按一般的反映，在不限速度的前提下，一般认为 MOEMS divE 的平均
难度，超过 AMC 8 的第一题到第十题的平均难度。
当然，MOEMS divE 是专门为 4 - 6 年级设计，而 AMC 8 总体是为 6 - 8 年级设计。
所以按以上看，我觉得在 AMC 8 前，先做做 MOEMS，是 suggested but not required
。两者之间没有真正意义上的 dependency 的关系。(真正参加竞赛要求出成绩和正确
率的另说)。 |

：打算有空多跟娃看几遍，还一直没来得及
这个我说说我的经历。。。当然每个娃不一样，我就是说我家大娃的经历
（小娃都可能不同，目前不知道）。
我在大娃四年级的时候，确实抱着那样的想法把 MOEMS divE 当趣味题玩
。。。当然在数学兴趣方面，以及概念基础方面，我觉得我还是赚了。。。
但在具体解题 plumbing 技巧方面，我觉得我是惨败。。。
这也是我后来为啥到处无厘头嘲笑现代人对 Piaget 的 Formal Operation
的解释。。。我还到处嘲笑无数竞赛题都可以用小学四年级 MOEMS divE
的方式心算即可。。。
但嘲笑归嘲笑，现实不是自嘲他嘲可以解决的。。。我在一年半后立马就掉头
完全改变策略，改成 AMC 8 => AMC 10 为主攻，辅助使用 MOEMS 型不严格
的概念证明作为概念支持，以尽早上 AMC 10 型 algebra 的概念，然后再回过
头来对付 non-routine problem。。。这后面的认知理论基础是，想象 Concrete

pattern is to dive half in the morning, pull up before lunch, drop another
half after lunch, then in last 10-15 mins pull up a lot.
In addition, QQQQ p/c in dollar is only 0.81, QQV begin to climb up, volume
is not too high or too low. The suckers such as sndk drops a lot in these
two days while the leader such as appl still hold well.

我知道这个标题充满了流氓般的炫耀，其实完全相反，就像是校园里飘落的银杏叶，这
不过是一篇迟到的忏悔。
一
大一的时候，学校和哪儿合作举办了个很大型的歌唱比赛。她是参赛选手。因为刚上大
学，越过了高考的生命线，摆脱了高三的集中营，男生之间总是弥漫着强烈的荷尔蒙。
同学就怂恿我去追她。
这之后就是很平常的打电话吃饭逛街。老实说，和她一起走在街上，还是能遇到不少撞
电线杆的路人。她经常叫她朋友一起出来为她把关，甚至还叫我去过她的家乡和她家人
亲戚吃过饭。
但是她一直没有表态，就这么拖着。直到有一天，我收到了一条她发的拉票短信，大概
是又参加了什么歌唱比赛，需要短信投票之类的。发现同学也收到了一模一样的群发短
信，那一瞬间，我彻底不喜欢她了。当即删除了她的所有短信和联系方式。

潜水回来只有一个小时休息，随便在城里找了一家看上去比较像当地人会去的小馆子吃
了两个fish taco，路过一家饼屋忍不住进去转了一圈:)
回到码头船已经准备好了，整整齐齐两排氧气瓶。和我们同船的还有三个有潜水证的游
客和他们的向导，而我们两还是Allen带着。安排的两个潜水点，一个Palancar Garden
，还有一个名字没听清，好像是Palancar Shallows，这两天要打电话确认一下。
Palancar 其实是很大一个珊瑚群，六十年代法国探险家就是因为这里惊呼cozumel为世
界数一数二的潜水圣地，小海岛从此扬名。当然旅游业还主要依靠游轮。为修游轮码头

看到Southpark征集去跳伞的贴子, 介绍一下自己的经验.
业余的跳伞有两种: static-line & tandem. 我各跳过一次, 想来是大同小异.
Static-line是引线的一端已经挂在飞机上, 人一跳出去伞就自动拉开了.
所以没有sky-diving的体验, 只需从大约3000英呎高处跳, 记得是四分多钟后着陆.
另一种更常见的Tandem则是爬到~11,000英呎处跳,
sky-dive直落大约一分钟后在~3000/4000呎处拉伞.
各个州的法律不一样, 但都不会允许新手自己跳,
所以每人都配有一个有执照的老手挂在一起跳出来
(服装上有六个钢扣子互相扣住, 任何一个都足以把两人缠在一起).
整个活动, 包括事前的训练, 大约需要在那里呆4-6小时.
以下这些事实可能会消除你的顾虑:
** 跳伞是比登山游泳还要安全的活动.
主伞和备用伞同时失效的概率, 比被山上滚下来大石头砸个正 |
