这有点奇怪. 你的电脑和硬盘能用,但启动时显示没有硬盘.也许是disk driver is not
up to date. 你可检查一下你的disk driver and update it. Control Panel ->
System, select harware tab, click Device Manager. In Device Manager, double
click Disk drives. It will display the your harddisk name. Double click the
harddisk name and it will open the harddisk properties. In the General tab,
Check Device Status. If there is error, click the Troubleshoot... button. To
update disk driver, select the Driver tab, click Update Driver... button. |

硬盘最近感觉吃不住劲头,只好下决心换一个.
到苹果店的时候问过一下,店员说了,自己买硬盘装比较合算,另外他们的服务要80刀
到周边的店买了个日立7200转500G 70刀,一套超小screw set4刀, (主要是一个小十字
和一个T6)
拿了一个N1调出网上的tip, 一个iphone拍照,
软件timemachine backup失败,装了free version的superduper, backup 到lacie的
external disk 成功,
选择fireware链接的lacie 为启动盘,成功启动.关机. (好像也可以选择target disk
mode,可以省去用external disk 的麻烦)
下了几十个小螺丝 (早期的mbp 螺丝真多),发现很多小螺丝的头上已经有绿色的锈迹.
终于,mbp的内秀展现, (17"的mbp和网上介绍的情况少有不同,需要多下一个支撑支架,
但都是下螺丝就可以搞定)
换上新盘,小心复原,
启动, 用disk utility 对新盘分区, 然后用superduper 拷回原盘内 |

apple support，结果说电脑买了好几年了，要support电话每小时49刀，吐血～～
（btw，partition的时候，我电脑就160g，想给xp 留32g，大家觉得够运行吗？也可以
选5g，不过是不是太少了，用windows会不会太慢阿？）
不能分区时，错误信息是这样提示的：
The disk cannot be partitioned because some files cannot be moved
Back up the disk and use Disk Utility to format it as a single Mac OS
Extended (Journaled) volume. Restore your information to the disk and try
using Boot Camp Assistant again.

. Erase, then write again, then erase for 7 times.
If you still have the mac, link your disk to Mac, select Disk Utility and "
erase" the disk. Apple OS lets you select your method: 7 times for DoD
standard, or 31 times for insane standard. Quick erase won't be safe.
All in one word: 7 times of erasing. |

reinstall the system using the cd, does that mean I have to get a new hard
disk? any other ways to see if the hard disk is still good, I hardly use
this airbook, and only got it for about three years, so hopefully it is not
the disk problem, just use that for internet browsing, so no experience
working on mac system before

Do this: (NOTE: only works on Lion-generation Macs such as Mid-2011 Mini. For pre-Lion Macs, go borrow a snow leopard disk from a friend.)
1) Turn off mini
2) Turn on while holding down "Alt" (PC KB) or "Option" (MAC KB) key
3) Keep holding down Alt/Option until Apple recovery screen shows up
4) If wireless, select network and enter password. Otherwise just use wired connection
5) Recovery util will download software from Apple and initialize your

development work using Notebook, you will know that the notebook's bottleneck
is its hard disk. Notebooks tend to have slow hard disk, like 4200rpm or
5400rpm, a noticable difference from the mainstream desktop IDE hard disk,
normally at 7200rpm. That means it's very painful if your system begin to swap
in/out to virtual memory on hard disk. That's the reason why you need a large
physical memory for a notebook.

你正常的分区表是这样的：
1. primary, bootable, Vista BOOT
2. EISA, system recovery
3. primary, disk C
现在你的EISA被mark成primary,成了disk C, 所以BOOT一启动就找到EISA，但EISA没有
操作系统，所以机器死了。
办法：
1）用test-disk监测第二分区的目录结构，是不是恢复文件
2）把第二分区从primary改成EISA
test-disk报错和你的机器故障的原因是，Boot放在第一sector,但EISA竟然在Boot的后
面，所以硬盘修复后建议备份EISA分区的文件（刻成DVD），然后把EISA删掉。 |

先是，在装机的最后一步它提示我，可能是install CD有问题，fail。我后来又重复装
了一次，这次就干脆停在中途，无赖只的power off关机。
然后，再启动机器的时候，它就自动提示要check disk，但不知为何，机器又自动取消
checking，可以进windows。然后我通过windows自带的system工具恢复了因两次试图装
Ubuntu所划出的硬盘区。
现在的症状就是：
1. 现在每次开机都会要求check disk，但总是自动取消。Why？？
2. 对C：盘现在也不能defragmentation，总是报告，有chkdsk scheduled on this
disk。
3. 机器运行的速度感觉上是慢了。
4. 我用了disk check工具检查我的HD，又是通过了。
问题：
这到底是不是我的HD的大限到了，我该马上backup数据？
我应该如何才能对我的HD作chkdsk?? 是不是那么需要？？

RAM不够上DISK RAM， 不够快再上 RAM DISK.（RAM-like performance HARD DISK）

were moved to the spare area.

这样可以灵活按照需求来增加volume大小。比如一个disk group如果10TB，
而你只需要2TB空间，你就先分配2TB好了，不够了再扩大。剩下的空间
可以建立其他volumes，或者disk-group-level iSCSI LUN ——
当然LUN也可以建在volume上做thin provisioning和快照，
但直接建立在disk group上性能更好。 |

是一个型号的WD 4GB，DSM里面组Disk Group和Volume都没有问题，可一开始拷文件就
跳Message，跳出很多条后就报告Volume fail了。从Storage Manager里查HDD/SSD，发
现一个红盘里Bad Sector Count为0，可disk re-identification count 有27个。理论
上，盘应该是好的，Synology论坛上也有人说曾经为此RMA过硬盘，却被厂家原盘送回
并要买家自付运费，因为盘没有出任何问题。所以说应该是DSM或Synology的设置规定
。可问题是一旦有了这个disk re-identification count，就什么RAID都不能组了，很
郁闷的。你遇到类似问题了么，还是怎么解决的？
论坛上好想也有人说出现disk re-identification count 就意味着这硬盘老化了，随
时准备养老送终了。WD的3年保修，今年12份过期，所以要是盘真出问题了，得赶快处
理了。 |

这个玩笑开得。
用上zfs send/recv，1g网不用并行拷贝，可以稳上100MB/s。
昨天做测试，网络文件读写差不多都是500MB/s。
现在同一个SAS RAID卡上iotop是这样的：
Total DISK READ : 409.86 M/s | Total DISK WRITE : 0.00 B/s
Actual DISK READ: 413.49 M/s | Actual DISK WRITE: 617.00 M/s
快的那个有八个4T盘NVME缓存，慢的只有四个8T盘没有NVME缓存。 |

是在sdb1分区里分了两个区而新盘其实只有一个分区sdb1??
糊涂了。

edition，估计挪动了一个local disk的space，然后说是那个local disk corrupt了，
不能
读，用acronis看那个disk还在，但没有free space，也不让再加了，说是到了max
capacity。
