爬山高手. 天气有些热, 看来以后不能老组织爬山了. 一路上好景观, 可惜我的像机没
电了, 不能照像, 非常遗憾. 从Mt. Dickey 向Mt. Welch 看去, 在朦胧的群山环抱之
中, Mt. Ｗelch 就像是HD 高清的镜头, 非常独特. 快爬到一半时， 迎头撞上了上星
期一起爬山的MING YE, 她和AMC 的人也爬此山, 世界真小啊! 我们三个小时便爬完这
俩座山, 看看时间还早, 便顺路去TILTON ＯＵＴＬＥＴＳ 买买东西， 晚饭在
texas roadhouse, 一天下来过得很充实． 谢谢Junxu, Hongyu, John, Michael,
James, Eric and Mark 等各位司机不辞辛苦， 各位ＸＤＪＭ的相互帮助和配合，
让这次活动圆满完成，我们期待着下一次的聚会． |

最高奖，名至实归啊。他那种神勇的状态竟然保持了一整个赛季，虽然中途一直有人预
测他随时会垮掉，因为从来没有蝴蝶球投手能够一整个赛季都那么牛的。但他偏偏就一
整个赛季都那么牛。从六年前职业生涯低谷几乎被职棒淘汰，到现在登上职棒最高峰，
这里头的戏剧性本身也够拍一部电影了。先前的纪录片还拍得早了点，没能把他这个成

带。徒步到一片开阔地带，放眼望去，层层山峦的暖色系就像油画一样浓重， “前三
里，后三里，望不到头”。
这次选择的徒步路线是一条loop，距Boston两个半小时车程，把White Mountain
National Forest 中的Welch 山 和 Dickey 山串连起来，徒步过程后期有大量的岩石
暴露区域，适合望远和摄影，两座山谷以及远处山脉的风景尽收眼底。
由于徒步线路中有一些比较暴露的岩坡，一双抓地力好的登山鞋/运动鞋是必须的装备
，同时做好保暖及防晒的准备。食物和水请根据个人的需要自行准备。

美国政府在布什时代对胚胎干细胞的研究限制甚严，不允许联邦资金用于
新的胚胎干细胞的研究。奥巴马上台后放松了此限制。有些组织认为这个
会导致摧毁胚胎的事情发生（也就是堕胎），所以对此进行了诉讼。
此诉求被下层法院驳回之后，上诉后又被上诉庭驳回。但是初步估计对此的
法律纠纷绝不会就此而止。

在这个过程中发现一个问题
以其中一个variable房价为例
我如果用Dickey-Fuller test，
发现housing price data 有unit root，但是difference没有，与预期相符和通常情况
相符合
我接着用augmented Dickey-Fuller test，也就是加上几个lags
结果与前边相反，housing price data本身在5% marginally reject unit root hypot
hesis，但是take difference以后，这个difference反而有unit root，与预期情况完全
相反。
这是什么原因？用哪一个检测比较合理？ |

Trailhead: Parking area on Orris Road, off Mad River Road, elevation
about 1100 feet

From Exit 28 of I-93, take NH Route 49 NE about 5.9 miles, and turn L
on Mad River Road. (There is a sign but it may sneak up on you.)
After .7 miles turn R on Orris Road, and after another .6 miles turn R
