有一次测到了，我慢下来，警察灭了警灯大晚上在我后面跟了我10分钟。等我再次加速
突然开始测，还是被我先把速度减下来了。挺好用的。
挂在挡风玻璃上你只要拿下detector就好，吸盘不用动。
可以放在其他地方。
不过理论上来讲，你放置的的位置越高越好。
所以大部分人都挂在挡风玻璃内侧，中间比较高的位置。
有人把它装到车前，放牌照的旁边，哪个就比较复杂了，要拉线什么的。还要装extra
monitor。
如果你的周不能用就别买V1。
警察有radar 可以测到 radar detector，不过有的radar detector可以测到radar
detector detector。
你要去买那样的，还要藏着，一旦发现警察赶快拿下来。这种detector的位置因该是挂
在仪表盘上，方向盘的前方，方便摘取。 |

两三分钟响一下的那种。有天land owner来了，我说我给他电池，换了之后就不会尖叫
了，只需要五分钟的事情，但是他没有管就走了。于是一家人继续生活在detector烦人
的尖叫声中。最近，另外一个detector又响了，比先前那个声音大好几倍。于是一家人
，包括刚出生的婴儿， 以及老人一天24小时生活在刺耳的尖叫声中。我都要疯了。打
了好几次电话，屋主就是不接，留言也不回，当然更不要说过来换电池，让detector不
再响了。请教这种情况下我该怎么办？先行谢过了，实在要被逼疯了。 |

刚刚出去遛一圈回来，十分郁闷。
出去一个小时，遇到3量警车（moving）。detector没有一点反应。
第一辆在highway掉头，来到我这个方向的lane，然后就看见pull over我后面一辆车，
detector还有没有一点反应（当时我开75/60）
第二辆警车和我同行3分钟，detector毫无反应。
到底着玩意响不响啊，买了的说说。我现在只有过cvs,walmart等地才能想起来自己刚

5辆车，一会排成人字形，一会排成一字型，很爽。带头大哥很牛X，在这个风声鹤唳的
年代，带着我们4个小弟，最高飙到100+mph，一路过关斩将，而且总能在恰当的时候减
速下来，看着一路的警灯飘过。所以不免怀疑其到底是眼力超人，还是有detector。回
家后开始研究detector。哪位用过，给推荐一个。貌似有些detector会被anti-
detector detect出来，然后被警察虐。 |

gps是必须，但却并非因为这几个原因
实际上新款的低端版escort，costco卖两百左右的，可以通过蓝牙连手机
然后手机app一样能实现auto learn， traffic camera alert
以及他人共享警察位置等等功能
但有一个问题，通过手机的gps获取出来的速度有延迟，实测大概一秒左右
所以detector上显示的车速其实是一秒前的。
而9500上显示的是近实时的（至少和速度表读数同步）
9500在被警察雷达连续测速时会实时显示此时车速，这样心里有底警察读到自己速度如何
而没gps的detector这个读速功能基本上是废的，因为一旦雷达响第一时间肯定急刹车
所以延迟了一秒的读数基本没有参考价值了。
不过话说回来，反正你要做的是探警察，只要detector一响，赶紧减速就是了
所以其实detector最有意义的实际性能体现在探测的质量
也就是既不要误报，也不要漏报。这方面我实际经验，
两百块的escort和我原来的9500比都表现不错。
买过俩max360，不过是给合伙人的，自己没用上，就不发表观点了：） |

（1） 价格区别在于：所探测的波段多少和灵敏度，以及一些
格外功能，比如数字罗盘或者测速等等；
（2） local上因为受一些使用radar的设备比如自动门的影响，
误报比较多，但是很多detector也提供city 模式，可以稍微
减少误报。 不过话说回来，city里面你一般也不大超速，所以
我一般不在city用；
（3） 几十块的对那种所谓的laser gun可以探测不到，这种情况就是
那些埋伏在那里的cops喜欢用；
（4） 对于移动中抓超速的cops，他们一般都用普通的测速雷达，detector
就显得很有用了，你一般会提前1mile左右就得到警告；
（5） 万一被pull over了，在cops没有来之前，藏好detector；
（6） VA和DC用这个是非法的；
（7） 最重要的是：最好不要超速，超几mile节省不了太多时间！ |

中在一起了？
楼下furnace屋门口有个carbon monoxide detector，今天突然beep，声音不是很大，
每5、
6分钟beep一次。不知道啥原因。我去折腾了一下，把外面的壳拿下来看看是不是备用
电池改换了， 一不小心碰到了test按钮，结果一楼foyer一个小盒子尖叫了起来，非常
刺耳。 叫了3分钟就停了。 外壳拿下来以后我仔细看了看也没有看到备用电池，有一
条红色的线通到墙里面就去了，应该是和别的ADT的设备接在一起了。
这个测试尖叫结束了以后carbon monoxide detector的beep也没有了，不知道怎么回事
。。。 有经验的同学给解释解释？原来的beep可能是什么原因？怎么能把这个ADT的东
西搞清楚？ |

我把红线拆了，把整个detector拿下来了，没有电池。应该是这个CO的寿命到了，买了
一个新的单独的CO装上去了，和ADT没有关系了。
有时间还得把整个ADT给disable了，苦在找不到要是开那个ADT的箱子。

因为beam crossing 的频率太高，比如LHC才25ns,25ns里出来的shower有成千上万，这
样的数据现在的计算机一下就饱和了。
所以，trigger是个filter,比如1万个粒子里面选1个记录。一般为了记录的速度，
frontend都是FPGA做很简单的筛选，早期的计算机水平比较低，所以需要所谓的L1，L2
，L3分级筛选，但LHC就不是这样，FPGA筛选后就直接写到hard drive了。
如果你的beam crossing频率比较低，又是电子对撞这种back ground比较小的，比如北
京的那玩意，就没有必要用trigger了。
trigger是detector的一部分，一般认为detector分calorimeter, drift chamber,
tracker, 和data acquisition (包括trigger)组成。
现在市面上几乎没有一本能够完整描述当代detector的书。 |
