Just 10 years after the Supreme Court upheld the University of Michigan’s
use of race in admissions as a necessary step to foster campus diversity,
the justices are set to decide whether that state’s voters are allowed to
ban affirmative action in admissions entirely.
The case, Schuette v. Coalition to Defend Affirmative Action, is one of
several controversial cases on the docket in the 2013-14 term, which began
Monday.
The justices are also set to... 阅读全帖

Tech giant Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) recently considered acquiring
Nokia but decided against it. It was reported that Nokia allowed Microsoft
to take a look inside their books and that’s when the company decided not
to buy them after all.
This is a very smart move on Microsoft’s behalf. Nokia Corporation (NYSE:
NOK) is failing fast as their sales have plummeted significantly in the last
few years. Just over the last five years, Nokia’s share sales decreased by

In many of Trump's victories this year, commentators have noted that late-
deciding voters have chosen another candidate, either Marco Rubio earlier in
the campaign, or Ted Cruz more recently. Trump would then "underperform"
poll estimates, while still winning. That inevitably led to the suggestion
that GOP voters were changing their minds and that Trump was fading. Late

Late deciders and early deciders are two populations w different
characteristics, probably. They might be more influenced by mainstream media

The actual sequence of events that led up to me being a rookie on the Harvard
ballroom team are kind of vague to me now, but I think this was how it went.
The fall after my ill-fated formal I decided to sign up for a ballroom dance
class. I don't remember exactly what made me decide to do it. It could just
have been out of pure curiosity, or maybe I wanted to become at least
competent in some form of ballroom dancing before my next formal. The harvard

Intel and AMD have lost out big time this week in the form of around $1.3

Russia purchases roughly 700,000 new PCs every year and 300,000 new servers.
They are split across government departments and state-run companies/

Good point.
Early deciders are active users of the social media, and hence difficult to
be brainwashed by the mainstream media. This is why Trump leads almost in
all the online polls.
I hope Trump will spend more on TV ads.
