全无法就交流的有。也跟一个19岁的黑人小子做过一段时间朋友，穷家庭出来，社区学
院的学生，人家讲起佛教一套套的呢。我的English tutor也有过黑人，我教她Gmat数
学，感觉也不笨，就是个中国一般人的水平吧。我同学里面的黑人也有挺聪明挺能说得
，也是穷家庭出生，她一发表意见，全部人都听得仔仔细细，实在是太能说了。我在社
区学院上过课，很多同学的都是黑人，确实好多挺笨的，不过读书还是用功的。感觉黑
人比白人容易接近，我老公也是一样的感觉。我们区里面住有零星的黑人，老公做
metra的时候遇到过，挺热情的样子，也很decent。我见过的白女嫁的黑男，都挺
decent的。
我觉得人是什么样的人，肤色最多影响我判断的10%。 |

，面包房，冷饮，房子又大又好看，价格也不算贵，50万貌似挺不错的，生活无数方便。
南加的其他几个城市各有特色，SD太热，玩的多，吃的少，就几个医药公司和一个
qualcom顶着，总体不如人意。santa babala，好是好，房子5m往上走。反正都是富翁
住的，10m，5m不差。
三番 吃的也不错，city life，气候冬天有点冷，夏天比较舒服，很多人觉得加州热，
其实三番的冬天也很冷。缺点就是房价实在是太贵，one bedroom直接冲3000.
南湾 吃的稍微差很多，一堆民工不太懂的玩，人群很单一，但是都喜欢装会玩。外面
过去开会的随便一个lunch整个餐厅都是类似的话题，xx公司IPO，XX技术如何了，XXXX
。房子也不便宜，靠近牛逼公司的one bedroom 2500，普通的2000，房子更是动不动几
m。
芝加哥 city，city life 明显，有bar，有烟火。有工作，就是冬天harsh了点，不过
美帝国主义嘛，其实真的还好。

的东北部和东南部较多，比如buckland hill 北边那块地方，你自己研究一下Bing地图
bird view就知道了。另外也有开发商在造新房子。这个镇规定single family house
至少要有半亩地，但是也有很多Lot很小的condo性质的房子。大部分地方都通天然气和
上下水。
在Hartford以北，若想有decent的房子，decent的学区，交通方便，购物方便，有一定
的华人社区，south Windsor是很好的折中选择。 |

发帖数: 893 | 7 小店的东西都贵。我买菜去basket market, stop&shop, whole food, 其他东西基本不
买，要买也是walmart, target, 这些全国价钱应该差不多，生活费用基本是房租60％
，吃饭汽油车保险电话等等40％。
麻省冬天太长，4个多月，一半时间天空是灰色的，只能窝在家里，可是又喜欢户外活
动，郁闷。这里的基础设施，道路宽度和平整程度都很差，因为冬天铲车铲雪的斗子把
路面刮坏，到处是大坑小坑，平时马路上一层白色的沙盐灰。麻省买房的好处是同样的
价钱可以在麻省I95－I495 ring之间或者I495之外买到2－4倍与orange county的大院
子，但要忍受冬天在室内漫长的蜗居。
其实我经常想：没必要在麻省做房奴 (目前的收入要6－8年的税前工资才能afford一个decent house in decent town, 税后就是要15－20年了)，是不是还不如回国发展算了，回到老家的3线城市，弄上3个apartment, 住一个，出租2个，另外随便干个什么工作都能吃饭 养孩子，似乎比在麻省压力更小，自由时间更多

St louis has a very decent public transportation system, except the

The question is: if you have money and want to open a decent Chinese
restaurant, will you do it in Elizabeth?
Two reasons:
1) not nice neighborhood and low-income area.
2) not many Chinese living around.
Based on these two basic facts, I doubt that there will be a decent Chinese
restaurant there. |

very different. in general, metuchen is not cheap to live. a decent condo
would be around 300K, a decent house could be 350K. You can look at new
brunswich/franklin/somerset too. They are not too far away but they have
newer condos/construction at similar price.

scallop alfredo pasta and coconut shrimps. the coconut shrimps were better
than I expected. Decent size, too (normally RL's shrimps are tiny).had
chocolate brownie and key lime pie for desert. I am a big eater and there
was no way for me to finish all of them.

Spice UWS NYC- went there twice when I watched shows at Beacon. Decent food
at decent price for that location, but nothing special.
Lemongrass - two NYC downtown locations. Food in stores are much better than
ones ordered via seamless web. Kinda like Chinese food, oily and salty.

get >10 bids (many chinese bidders) and you have to pay crazy premium to
grab one.
Summit is right next to shorthills, even though good houses in summit go
very quickly like shorthills, I think it is slightly easier to get hold of a
decent house between 1-2mm, I think that's why more and more Chinese buy
houses here, plus Summit has a cute downtown and lots of community events. |

始还有些中国劳工娶爱尔兰老婆，后来这条路被堵死了。在美国出生的中国人不具有美
国国籍，直到一个好像是姓黄的出来打官司，才改变了这个，从此各位包括现在留在美
国的各位生的小孩才有美国国籍。那个排华法案是让当时的美国华人没有婚姻，没有后
代，直接让华人在美国绝种。
也不仅仅是美国，英国人建立的国家，包括澳大利亚，新西兰，加拿大都是开动国家机
器系统性地排华。
相对而言，别的欧洲国家，还有日本，俄罗斯等等，他们的本地人排华就不是这样的系

现在看上了两个coop
一个在rego park，比较大，算是个deal，比市场价低1-2万，物业费较高，房子比较破
，地板，厕所都要重新装修。
另一个在jackson height，稍微小一点，装修的比较漂亮，可以直接住，比市场价稍高
，物业费很便宜。
主要是现在很忙，如果选择rego park，担心装修很费时间，很费钱。
而jackson height又觉得社区不太好。
ps. 宝宝还很小。
请问大家有什么看法，应该选择哪一个，非常感谢。

然后看了这几个区的房市后觉得这个预算悲剧了，基本这个价格要么是年老的小黑房，
1.5 bath的那种，要么就是在树林里的屋子，还有啥septic tank都出来了。
可能唯一还decent点的房子在wynnewood，不过也都是小小只的，而且yard会很小，另
外看上去治安也比较差些，也会拥挤些。
目前转了一圈，比较affordable又decent的房子似乎在havertown，不过haverford学区
是不是太一般了。
有没有对这些区域熟悉的过来人，可以分享下经验，提供点建议不，谢谢！！ |

mr和hoa比这些比较decent cv的房子多了500块一个月,也就相当于10万的贷款所承担的
利息,75万hampton加10万,85万的话看来看去看不到什么满意的
我想很多人都这么想的,才买在那里,70几万80万的房子基本是单收入的上限 |

子在SD附近要多少钱；其次lp是做公司财务会计的，不知道SD附近的就业市场如何，如
果找不到工作那我们的家庭总收入还下降了；最后是SD小学的文化氛围不知道怎么样，
我们这里90%都是很纯朴的白人家庭，亚裔黑人latino都很少，外来移民少也好也不好
，好处是孩子们都比较简单，不好的地方就是孩子班里就她一个亚裔。比较矛盾，望有

The houses are very expensive in CA (and you still have to bid for decent

). and the school districts mostly are bad. The CA state government keeps

跟你说吧， 有一家印度人来吃饭， 吃完了说这不好那不好， 问题是刚吃时不说， 吃
完后才抱怨。 问他怎么办， 他说不付账单。
问老板，老板说有些印度人就是这么不尊重自己， 也没有出来。 最后waitress用小费
付一半， 老板自己负责另一半。

我认识的一些比较decent的老美都买在南边，基本原因是那边老美本来就多，其次是自
然环境比较好他们觉得够decent。学校的话，小学好的是booksin （10分, Willow
Glen）,St. Christopher (私立小学）， Oster (10分）以及85南边的Union district
。中学的话据说都一般，很多中产老美送娃去上私立中学了。比如WG地区
presentation女子高中这样的。 |

，出租也不难，租金并不比fremont低太多。
750K在fremont很难买到decent的SFH，除非加价到900K以上。 |

Before NM opened in Sep 2009, there was only one decent department store in
seattle-Nordstrom. Ppl who with basic shopping experience know that JCp<
Macys
the top lines, it is in fact a much more decent department store than
Bloomie in NYC.
The new mall where NM locates,I never go since I don't think I could offord
that.
