昨天，现代快报记者在人人网上看到黄梦尘不少同学发布消息，很多人都在表达哀思。“总觉得世界太大，很多事情的发生都与我无关，但现在发现世界又太小，小到远在美国的枪击案的被害人也是我们的同学。一路走好！”这是一位同学在昨天中午更新的人人网状态。
不少黄梦尘同学、朋友很快获知消息，表示非常震惊。网友“果蝇妹妹”发微博说：“我见过，记得和她说过话，很NICE的一个女生。”网友“吃货玛玛”则表示，黄梦尘貌似当年还是学生干部，成绩很不错。网友“S_名字不要太长”说，他是黄梦尘的高中同学，对方是位“很有才情的女孩子”。
还有一名同学说，黄梦尘读的是博士，“在我们家过过中秋……”
根据记者了解到的情况，黄梦尘在2006年毕业于南师附中，当时她所在的班级是高三四班，毕业后考取中央美术学院。她的同学回忆称，黄梦尘是班里的才女，成绩很不错，性格也很好。
