这两天得到了一些同学的邮件或者站内信询问材料的事情，有几个问题我想集中公开回
答一下，一是有疑问的同学可以直接看，另一个这些问题我发现可能不光是针对买我的
材料的，更多是很多同学关于BECKER材料的疑问。
1。BECKER 材料的STUCTURE。
所用BECKER正版材料（也是就直接从BECKER官方买的材料）分为以下几个部分：
第一部分，COURSE CD也就是有人说的DATA CD，两个是一个东西，不同名字。这个非常
重要，因为有3次的安装限制，而且一旦安装就会在18个月后失效。所有其他4门课程的
DVD都要在安装了COURSE CD的基础上才可以运行（也就是看LECTURE，做练习）。
COURSE CD其实自己本身什么都没有，没有书，没有题，我个人理解它就是一个LICENSE。
-有些同学只要买COURSE CD，我不知道这些同学的具体情况是什么，但是我可以告诉大
家，光买COURSE CD什么都不能干买它干吗呀？也许有的人会说我有2010的DVD，但是我
想告诉你，我已经试过了，2010 和2011的材料是不可以混用的，也就是如果你有2010

COURSE1有STATS和MATHS，40道题，4个小时。 现在的P只有STATS了，30道题吧
COURSE 2 有，INTEREST，ECONOMICS，和CORPORATE FINANCE，40道题，4小时。 现在
FM只有 INTEREST 了，20道题？FINANCE，ECONOMICS 变VEE了
COURSE 3分LIFE CONTINGENCY和LOSSMODEL。40道题，4小时， 现在MLC只有 LIFE
CONTIENCY
COURSE 4 是LOSS MODEL，SIMULATION，TIME SERIES。现在的EXAM C是啥我就不知道了
，不过以前 4的一部份变VEE了
现在的MLE是以前的COURSE 2和6的一部份。
COURSE 5是ACTUARIAL PRACTICE，以前也是中国人PASS RATE最低的， 它和COURSE 7变
成了现在的FAP，没考试了，只做俩PROJECTS。

courses. Good liberal arts courses are rare online and extremely valuable.

，我说话直，不对你别介意。第一，独立解决问题的能力需要提高，你查了半天也不知
道，这一点让我惊讶。第二，你的面试需要提高，面试不是你一定要能回答所有的问题
，重要的是communicate confidence, 建立rapport。 问题不知道怎么回答要有个预案
，这些问题并不是核心的问题，不会就问吧。我当年找教职的时候，也有非核心的问题
不会，我就问这是啥意思请指教，最后也拿到两个offer。一个问题不会，不必非要去

following: the first number 68.2 tells you how hard the course is in relation
to par, i.e., if you are scratch golfer(0 handicapper), you should be shooting
about 68.2 on this course. so on your score card, it may say it's a par 71 or
par 72 course, 68.2 basically tells you it's a very easy course, because it's
equivalent to a par 68.2 course. the second number is a multiplier for your

of purchase。但听别的朋友都说，应该是从在线安装算起一年，所以没准备好就先不
要急着装。请有经验的朋友给指点迷津，到底从什么时候开始算啊？都已经买了小半年
了！！
另外，Course CD像我们这样share、装两台电脑，应该没什么问题吧？
跟在书里的那些data CD，能否刻一张，与朋友一人一套（只是Course CD要轮着装）？
还是必须在course cd装后才能用原盘运行？
Lecture CD呢？也需要Course CD运行么？我把整张Lecture CD考到硬盘里（还没有安
装course CD），但为什么最大的几个文件（如lecture1、2...5）打不开？

2011 course CD must support 2011 lecture DVD.
2010 course CD must support 2010 lecture DVD.
So, 2011 course CD cannot support 2010 lecture DVD, or 2010 course CD cannot
support 2011 couse CD.
course CD only have 3 installation, and can support all 4 parts of lecture
DVD(FAR/BEC/REG/AUD)

学校transcript 上的online course和非online course有区别么？学校说没有区别。
可是有的pharmacy school 明确说不要online course。所以。。。。问问再上
pharmacy的同学，这样的online course 能行么(成绩单上无online) 对于必须非
online course 才算数的学校？
还有就是没有规定online course不算的学校，去面试的时候，学校会问那些课是
online的，那些课是 非online 的么? |

，发现我的思路就是标准拓扑排序的思路，把没有依赖的都输出了，把剩下依赖它的“
依赖”去掉，直到全部输出，或者，找不到没有依赖的（那就是有循环）为止。下面代

basic pistol 大概175到200，然后给hsc，8小时左右

我在IL,考此州rn，需要cgfns做course-by-course和tofel（以前考的雅思就打水漂了
）。
我申请那个course-by-couse的评估至今快半年了，还没结束，问我要了3次东西，都是
寄回国内学校的。
今天又来了一封copy给我，问学校要两课学时，我记得这两课学时都要过了，不知道为
什么又要一次；还要一个validation of your license/registration from the
Health Professional Credential Verification Center(HPCVC)MOH，附了张表格，要
我寄给这个HPCVC机构，我没有工作过，所以没有国内的license，这个要怎么办呢？那
个机构电话也大不通，也不知道email 给谁，真得很着急，tofel都快去考了，这个还
没搞定，心情被搅得级差。
没有执照，能做course-by-couse评估吗？我的目的是只要能评估就好了

Pharmacokinetics" instructed by Dr. Burnette (The first instructor listed
below) this semester. I think this course is very helpful to know the
general idea about PK and the instructor is really nice and good at teaching
.
PS: My background is chemistry and I knew nothing about PK before taking the
course.
As to this industrial course, I don't know too much. But I assume it would
be useful if it is open every year. |

proposal里面写出来，否则就是cost-share，是不是这样？
大家的学校都有一定的incentive的policy吗？我们如果grant里没有course buyout
money，就不给减课程；即便是career这样跨越很多年的。
本来教课任务就重，感觉拿nsf grant简直是给自己找麻烦，现在有点不堪重负。一般
这种情况下，大家都怎么解决？大家的学校有没有给NSF，特别是NSF career
recipients一些incentives，course release也好，给support学生也好，certain
percentage of indirect costs kick back也好，有没有什么学校公开的information
，比如学校放在网上的，可以share的？

course deliverables是不是教学手段，包括教材，讲义，课程安排，评分标准这些东
西？

谢那时各位的无私帮助！经过这个过程我自己倒是把RCL这个东西研究了一遍。今天opt
算是approve了，心中一块大石落地，买买提上关于这个主题的帖子不多，我就此把我
的经验写出来，积攒人品，以飨来者。
1. 什么是RCL?
Reduced course load - RCL, 顾名思义，减少课程负担，大家都知道，每个学校都有
一个Full-time每学期最低修多少学分的要求，RCL就是允许你可以不修满规定的最低FT
学分，依然算你full-time，不会out of status的一种政策，USCIS档案编号Sec. 214.

2. 为什么RCL不容忽视？
对于作为国际学生的我们来说，Full-time等于你的合法身份，如果你某个学期不小心

tee off at 9:15, finish 9 hole at 11:30, after get a call from work. they
said i can come back and finish the back 9.
very good course condition, great green.
good view. course carve out from a hilly valley. there is almost no fairway
flat in the whole course. if you like elevated green or de-elevated green,
that course is for you.
very friendly staff, highly recommended |

difficult it plays. Most of the time I play courses with slopes in the mid
130s including my home course, and occasionally I play courses in the 140s.
What I can tell you is that those with slopes of 140s really play very
difficult.
