候，到学校的counseling 寻求帮助。但是counseling 只是不断地问他问题，最后让他
心情更加恶劣。
这让我想起了以前的经历。5年前刚到美国开始读Ph.D.的时候，我也有过学业不顺，身
体也不好的低潮时期。那时我也去过学校的counseling, 感觉和朱海洋是一样的。学校
的心理咨询师按步就班地问了我很多的问题，很多问题我根本不想回答，后来我越说越
难受，最后咨询还没结束就受不了跑掉了。
今天心里有一个想法，我们能不能成立一个心灵家园，帮助有心理问题的海外中国人。
像朱海洋，或者涂博士这样的极端悲剧事件，是不是可以避免的呢。我想，在这些悲剧
事件的周围，很可能有很多其他的海外中国人，因为各种各样的压力，处在心理崩溃的
边缘。他们也许顾及颜面，不愿和家人和朋友过多的交流。也许他们周围没有适合交流
的人。有些人会求助教会，但并不是对每个人都适用都能接受。我觉得，最能帮助他们
的，应该是有相似经历的同胞，而不是陌生的美国心理医生。美国的心理医生不会理解
他们的经历和他们所承受的压力，不能给他们有效的 |

我预约OB很晚，13周才第一次见OB.当时OB问我要不要做genetic counseling 和 Down
syndrome 的blood test，并告知这个是自选的项目，可做可不做，保险cover。那时我
和老公极度的自信我们的宝宝不会有问题，就没有做检查。随后在版上看了许多的帖子
，对自己当时的决定越来越怀疑，于是在17周见OB时，要求做这两项。
17周抽血，大概就2天吧，看到结果。 Down syndrome， positive， 1：29。 我今年
31岁半，我这年龄和孕周的妈妈，这个值应该是1：500左右才是正常。所以立马就约了
大B超和genetic counseling。OB表示可以结合大B超的结果，再做决定我是否需要做羊
穿。
18周时，先见了genetic counselor.我和老公家族遗传病史都没有问题，我目前状况良
好。不觉得这个counseling有多大用处。得到的有用信息就是，在大B超时会测量BB的

州居民学费,但是学校让和Office of General Counsel 联系,从2005一直到2006的秋季
给他们发了很多次Appeal 但是他们就是说不符合加州居民,(我付上了所有的银行,税表
,水电..).现在和他们打官司Appeal winter 2006 and Spring 2006,对方的律师提出要
看我以前申请的Petition for residence classification 的证明材料,可是学校和
Office of General Counsel以前都没有任何人告诉我们去填这个表,一直到2006年秋季
学校一个老师才告诉我们,我也是在2006年秋季才第一次填这个表,并获得交加州居民学
费,现在想请问:
1.是不是由于我以前没有提交这个Petition for residence classification,就说明我
以前没有申请过,这个官司就一定会输?
2.Counsel office 一直拒绝我,也从没有提出过我没有提交Petition for residence |

找了律师，先提交eb1a然后追加pp，一周后收到NOID。IO判断单项满足标准，但
totality不够，NOID notice很长，批判的点比较多，我看不出IO真正关注的是哪一点
或者是每条都不放过，我总结了要点如下，也把原文附在文后了。

1. 仅有审稿的客观证据不足以证明sustained national or international
acclaim
2. 审稿次数被律师搞错了！

加了四封推荐信（都是引用过文章的人），要了几封editor的信证明是领域top的人才
能被邀请审稿，
最主要的还是要挖料挖料挖料（之前不上心 惨痛教训啊筒子们），然后要在推荐信中
体现， 另外最后决定的回信策略是相当于重写了一遍PL， 而没有针对io逐条反驳（因
为可能就是个模版io拿来贴一下吧）
感觉这个0201还算比较公正，也有可能holiday season了，心情比较好^_^
以上希望可以给大家一些回复noid的参考信息，由于一些原因，更详细内容就不方便写

昨天读到了一篇对朱海洋的采访，里面提到他曾经在学业不顺，开始出现心理问题的时

以eSign那一个Loan Doc有四十多页 我代我家领导签名 所以两个人我就要签80多页
的文件 的确多了一些过去没见过的文件 签到我头都昏了 快要骂人了...
我这两个loan 一个是10/3之前进去的 Loan Doc 只有26页 10/3 之后进去的那个
Loan Doc就40多页 我感觉是照新的流程走 之前文件有一些错误要改 竟不能由
Agent直接寄给我改好的文件 还需要由他们公司的Appraisal Desk寄文件给我 的确
要多花一点时间
至于多加的那些文件 老实说我看不出有啥重要性的 反正就是签下去了....

For example, if in the future, Westwiew and Mesa Verde get too crowded, which community will the be kicked out first to make room for others? PV!!!! Because it is not even in the same city counsel district as the rest.

是很少见的. 如果某个学校人太多, 首先是学区内部重新划分, 然后就是建新学校. 如
果west view 的人太多, 可能会分到power way 其他的高中.

I wish that the politicians would leave us alone.
A lartge portion of a school district's budget come from property taxes
collected from the residents in its district. Tenants who live in
apartments don't pay property taxes. Because no apartments are allowed
to be built in PV and there are no condos in PV, PV is the most expensive

一下，完全就是华为想通过tmobile的测试，几个员工伙
计卖力过猛，被杂种们无限上刚了，几条罪状一个是照相，一个是拿出去测量了一下尺
寸。。。另一方面老中的不拘小节的习惯还确实是会被人抓住辫子欲加之罪，何患无词。
还有就是从以下的报道看，华为美国销售团队的老美当时过于简单草率地认了口说自己
员工有问题，埋下了事后今天被tmobile任意无限上纲的伏笔。。。教训！华为美国公
司不要太轻易轻信老美！可怜的是那几个卖力的员工，本来辛勤工作，极具一心扑在工
作上的劲头，结果不但被华为美国公司的老美马上解雇，搞不好还会被刑事起訴，什
么煞有介事的工业间谍，美国对中国人的白色恐怖，真的是歇斯底里，丧心病狂了。
这件事几乎可以下判断了：
完全是华为员工为了通过tmobile的测试卖力过猛。现在铺天盖地无限上纲到疯狂歇斯

律师的话，general counsel里的律师能授权外面的律师办EB1B的case么？
看其他学校人的帖子，都是找系里dean/chairman/supervisor签140的，犹他大学是一
定要通过general counsel来代表学校么？

这个小国王正直，爱家人，善良，年级小勇气有不足，知道隐忍，听从教导。
在Joffrey死后，外公Tywin曾问Tommen：what's a good king's single most

在校刊上看到最近40年的热门专业变迁（见末尾的附图），近年排名第一的经济专业，
40年前连前五名都没进。40年前排名第一的英语专业，本年度第一次被挤出前五。40年
前排名第二的历史，本年度还在第四名——不容易啊。生物排第三，是不是比国内吃香。
总听说心理学专业难找工作，但也排名第五。这个热门专业排名看来和实用专业排名不
一样。
又去找了找别的学校的热门专业情况。princeton开宗明义说热门专业不等于找工作方
便，不是给你一个固定的职业道路，而是教你各种skill sets，适用于不同职业。然后
