据的dummy variable 由（0，1）构成(低于某个值是0，高于某个值是1），做linear
regression的时候可以不可以直接用这个dummy variable来做，还是需要改成（1，2）
如果牵扯到interaction term, 一个factor是一个continous variable,另一个是dummy
variable (0.1), 在spss里面，需要把两个variable 想乘，得到一个新的variable算
interaction term,那么可以把dummy variable和另外一个continous variable 乘在一
起嘛?因为dummy variable 有一个数字是0.会不会有影响？还是需要原始的数据。

于病人后，近十年来美国的纽约大学医院、密西根贝蒙特大学医院、路易桑拿州立大学
医院、和南佛罗里达大学儿童医院先后相继开展肖氏手术临床病人应用研究，前三所均
获得成功，报告了与和肖氏手术中国结果基本接近的结果。
但南佛罗里达儿童医院团队由于没有基金支持其必须免费的临床研究，采取了骗取美国
儿童保险基金，用另一手术的名义支付肖氏手术所有费用，并为此设计了一个所谓肖氏

我最喜欢的十部（英文）旅行记
首先说明一下我为什么说“旅行记”而不是“游记”。“旅行”，在我看来就应该是
voyage，或者至少是travel，也就是说从某个地方旅行到另一个地方，然后记下沿途的
自然风光、人文历史和自己内心的感受。今天“游记”似乎都已经滥大街了，其中良莠
难辨，不乏蜻蜓点水之作。而我所列举的这些都是长途的旅行——或驾车、或坐船，甚
至还有徒步，行程都在一千公里以上（有的还是环球旅行，远远超过这个数字），都是
我个人百读不厌的佳作。
由于我身居北美，这些书中的大多数记述的是在北美的旅行（但也有两本环球旅行的）
，但我的初衷仅是列举我之所好，并不在乎有失偏颇。有几本书还有一两本类似的、或
由其衍生出来的书籍，我就将它们列为bonus。

90年代的Subaru SVX AWD是用的什么系统？
五、Driver Controlled Center Differential (DCCD)
原理：这个东东只能在 STi 和 WRC 上才会现身。前边所提到 Subaru 的各种 AWD，实
际上只是在前后轴之间分配扭矩，部分车型在后轴上加装了 LSD。但是对于 STi 和
WRC 来说，普通的 Continous AWD 和后桥的 LSD 毕竟不够强大，更好的办法是换成
Torsen 差速器，并且将普通的 Continous AWD 升级成为可以锁止的（手动的，或者自
动电控的），这就是 Subaru 的 DCCD 了。
当然，STi 跟 WRC 还是不同级别的。STi 只是在后桥上加装了 Torsen，而 WRC 则是
前后桥上都装有 Torsen 差速器。
优点：技术上而言，几乎无可挑剔了，真的。
不足：就一个字：贵！
应用车型：STi，WRC。

Subaru的AWD技术（方式）汇总（V1.1）
一、Active Torque Split AWD “主动式扭矩分配AWD”
别名：ACT-4 AWD
原理：
在前后轴之间（物理上，位于后桥主减速齿轮之前）设有电子控制（因此称为“主动控
制”）的多片液压离合器。正常状态下，离合器处于半接合状态，使得前轮与后轮之间
的扭矩分配为90:10（前驱为主）。当加速、刹车减速、或者前轮或后轮发生滑动时，
电子控制单元会主动调节前后轮的扭矩分配，分配比例范围为100:0到50:50。
需要注意的是：这种调节，仅会在变速箱为1档或者2档的时候管用，3档以上不管用。
具体原理（限制原因）没搞明白。
优点：体积小、轻便；可根据驾驶模式进行积极的扭矩分配调整。
不足：后轮分配到扭矩不是很多；在轮胎打滑时，扭矩调整会有一点点的延迟。
应用车型：国内销售的所有 2.0NA、2.0T 和 2.5NA 的 4AT 自动档车型。
一句话评论：尽管是入门配置，好歹也是全时四驱了。

我外行看法 - 肖的方法应该是有些效果，不过被“夸大”的嫌疑很大。如果是75%治愈

这几个地名都是不断变化的。比如亚细亚本来连阿拉伯，印度都不包括，后来连中国日
本都含进去了。
现在的阿非利加这个词一般说是罗马人起的名字，说的就是你说的北非西部那一块。罗
马还有一个阿非利加省。但是更早古希腊人那里，比如希罗多德时代，把埃及西边的北
非叫做利比亚。埃及南边叫做“阳光灼热之地”（Afriki)。把黑人叫做太阳之子，或
者阳光之子。
至于罗马人给迦太基那一代起的名字Africa，是不是意译或者音译了希腊人，是有争论
的。多半说是意译了希腊人的，也就是意思上也是“阳光之地”，但是位置不同，从罗
马的视角的南方，有了转移。后来被阿拉伯人抄去了。
