时间地点介绍贴在下面。看上去是从抗战时期、蒋介石炸毁河南郑州花园口的黄河大堤
说起，到1941-43年的河南大饥荒。河南作家刘震云的中篇小说《温故一九四二》说的
就是那个事儿，大批河南人背井离乡逃难，还有很多人吃人的事件，惨不忍睹。建国以
后挖井、修渠，有个很出名的红旗渠。但现在黄河水一年比一年干，水渠的水也比以前
少很多。去年去河南，听当地人说因为挖井、修渠大量开发地下水，破坏了生态环境平
衡。这个讲座似乎还是持积极态度的。有关心这方面的朋友可以去听听。

俺估计你的老师想要的是从 look ahead 上找问题。什么 shift-reduce
conflict 上。这个可以直接从语法上判断，不需要举例。
简单说，shift 就是某句子还没结束，要继续读下去。reduce 就是该句子已经
结束。
决定 reduce 的是 reduce-set，也就是碰到某些 symbol 后，该 symbol 前的
一部分应该被 reduce 成一个句子。决定 shift 的是 look-ahead set ，也就
是看到某些 symbol 后，该 symbol 是现在正在可能出现的句子的一部分。在句
子中的任何一点都要计算这两个 set 。如果 look-ahead set 里面和 reduce-set
里面有相同的 symbol，就算 shift-reduce conflict 。
现在在 if stmt then stmt . 的位置，这时候 reduce set 里包含 'else'，同
时 look-ahead 也包含 'else'。 shift-reduce conflict 。当然你要按照课本
里的算法将这两个 set |

部hash 然后你问它A见过没 B见过没
因为是hash 所以有conflict的可能 A和B hash成一个value 哪怕只见过A， bloom
filter也会回答你见过B 所以会有false positive
bloom filter适合大量询问是否存在的请求 不care 少量false positive 好处是占用
的space空间小
实际用途之一是我决定部分用户可以用到测试版本 每个用户请求我都问bloom filter
是否是测试用户 如果是就展示测试功能 当然少量非测试用户也被误报 但无碍大局
如果因为可能样本大 bloom filter自身空间小造成false conflict高的情况 可以通过
多次HASH来缓解 |

通过网路进行，电脑间没有网络链接，只能以USB为中介进行同步），有没有比较好的
双向同步软件能够不但拷贝文件，而且进行文件内的比较和merge,以及conflict
resolving的？我发现一般的sync软件不做这种conflict resolving, 而做conflict
resolving的都是svn, cvs等开发工具。虽然svn比较接近于我的用途要求，但是每次使
用svn还是感觉怪怪的。总有一些地方不是很顺手。。。不知道svn有没有跟踪rename,
deletion等功能的？
总之，还请大家讨论一下最好的同步软件。 |

内主要员工的手机号。结果google出来该手机是一家租车公司的联系电话。我们国内公
司就这家租车公司的车。conflict of interest issue。发现这个以后马上截屏google
，再百度，再截屏，报告老板，调整audit plan。回国以后，根据惯例，给机会，跟那
个员工过code of conduct questionnaire，里面有关conflict of interest部分多次
解释，伊始终说没有什么要disclose。这里还有一个插曲，我过完questionnaire以后
想让伊签字，同行的同事不同意，说11年初会再发一个，现在签有点多余，同事比我高
半级，我只能搞一个acknowledgement，就是让伊签字，但不对 questionnaire上面问
题作答（后来律师还是问我把伊签字的东西要了去）。然后跟local大老板brief，说我
们发现这个问题，可能需要作调查，大老板同意。我们就打google上面的电话，也就是

终于可以回贴了。
首先声明，我是老刘的学生，还未毕业。
上这个mit，我费了很大力气。就是想看看外面的一群人是怎样在远看老刘，甚至对老
刘作出恶毒的人身攻击，顺便指出我作为一个近看者的感觉。
我看了所有版上所有和老刘相关的评论，一个激烈的出发点是说“老刘禁止学生回家探
望生病的母亲”，其实这个观点已经被人识破了，但考虑到很多人只看这句不看原文（
其实原文也容易让人误解），所以再重复解释一下。老刘自始至终不知道任何生病的事
情，只知道一个学生国庆8天回家并且没有和导师说一声，而且很明显是蓄意的。作为
一个脾气并不很好的老板，生气是无可厚非的。
另一个大家生气的地方是老刘在节日期间安排了次组会。这个当然是不对的。但我想多
说一句。我们组的组会在每个学期开始时就全部日程安排好的。考虑到组里人多，为保
证每个人每学期至少汇报一次，碰到长的假日确实会组会照常进行的。这个事情其实实
验室大家都是体谅的。而且如果不参加告个假老刘也是完全理解的。决不像你们认为的
那么mean.
其实在我眼里，老刘也并不是perfect的。老刘脾气不好，高兴时很高兴，生气时突然

As is well accepted in the social sciences, 70% of the conflicts in the
world are cuased by culture barrier, no matter personal conflicts, wars or

同样是名词，一个是指个例，一个是general的term....
lower已经能说明问题，不用lower down...
credibility，指data或结论的话，一般我们用reliability。。。

不但没有将被害人送医，反而拿出尖刀将伤者刺杀，西安市法院4月22号判处药家鑫死
刑。有评论者认为：这是「民意的胜利」，也有人指出，这是正常的法律判决。学者认

记得刚回来时深导说：“建议星光等写游记，探讨一下中国的政治经济文化社会走向。
外边看好像非常conflicting”。
我立马回他，“这活儿可不容易。在国内看也是非常conflicting。 。。”
仔细想想这还真是一个不太好写的题目，因为现在的中国既不像西方一些文章所描写的
那样蓬勃发展，是二十一世纪的power；也不像在有些海外中文网站上描写的那样是危

only collapse before US goes down, China included. If you think this is a
conflict between countries you are mistaken. The conflict is actually
between the global elites, including the wall st and China ruling class, and
the working joes.
There is no safe harbor. Among all hubris, US may still come out being the
