要解释Oversign吧，
首先要从整个recruiting的process说起
学校在上一个学年的招生结束后，基本就开始了下一个学年的招生。除去很个别的情况
，大部分学校都是在春季学期开学，乃至春训开始以后的junior day开始给junior大规
模的发offer，这时候发出的offer有口头的，有书面的，但是学校都保留有撤回的权力
，因为每个学校都不能保证招的人一定来，所以都发了很多……以ND为例，在胖子主政
期间，每年大约发80－100个，现在Kelly每年能发到100－120个，所以留给学生和学校
都很大的选择空间。
进入夏季，学生开始参加各类的combine和camp，学校有更多的机会了解学生，学生也
借此到学校走动，互相了解了，commit就来了，这时候对于学校而言，一个头痛的问题
也产生了，随着commit的增加，他必须要时刻调整自己的招生策略，回撤部份的offer
，同时调整比例，保持有足够的空给想要的位置/想要的球员。这个过程贯穿整个秋季

具体情况如下。
今年我们只有15个SCHOLLY，加上总数的限制，说不定15个都不到，所以每个SCHOLLY都
很宝贵。目前的7个COMMIT，居然一个线人都没有，清一色小快灵！
DB的情况是这样的，WORLEY已经COMMIT了，VINCENT也将有希望在2-3周内COMMIT。PSU
最看好的HENRY是个变数，如果他COMMIT，我们就招3个，除他以外别人COMMIT，PSU可
能就不接了。这样可以留下SCHOLLY搞DL和OL。
可最新的消息是，PSU很喜欢另一个DB，RIVALS的三星，MARCUS ALLEN，而且这孩子比
较想COMMIT。如果这么一算，说不定我们就要弄4个DB了，也就意味着最多只能找1个OL
、1个DL。
这太不像话了！两条线软了，再多的小快灵也没用。辟邪剑法肯定死的难看，MICHIGAN

发帖数: 2682 | 5 1周前打算写一篇我狮招生半程综述，应我狮扇子的要求，放到MARCH MADNESS结束后再
写。现在三月疯结束了，作人要有原则，所以兑现承诺。
首先说说为什么现在算“半程”。NCAA FOOTBALL的招生和赛季不同，是全年无休的，
上个CLASS和这个CLASS经常有重叠。一般说来，碗赛结束后，大多数学校开始有第一个
COMMIT，也就是在1-2月份吧，直到来年2月的SIGNING DAY，持续大约1年的时间。因此
，从时间上来说，半程应该发生在8月份左右。
另一个看待半程的方式是看已经COMMIT的球员数量。按照25个招生名额计算，COMMIT到
12-13个就算半程了。这样算，我狮的2015 CLASS已基本到达半程。因此这个综述还是
应景的。
2015我狮招生的半程综述可用三句话概括：招的快、招的好、招的让人真意外。
招的快 – 我狮目前已经有11个COMMIT了，是所有学校中最多的，WVU有10个，巴马、
德州农机、LSU、TEXAS等豪门都是9个。大十内部，玉米棒子招的也挺快，现在有7个，
他密5个，他盖只有3个。

Junior Day是Clemson把对Clemson感兴趣的Junior学生招来学校进行交流，大部分球员

commitment extension, 直到clear to close.
如果对方不同意延期，你可以拿回订金，取消合同。

愿意在2年级甚至1年级就开始发展关系。力图把苗子尽早网到自己的菜园里面。
2，招生越来越早。以前很多天赋高的球员愿意拉长战线到最后，现在commit越来越早
了。以前早commit多一般也就是德州大，现在很多学校夏天还没有过完已经攥了10+的
commit了。
3，媒体，特别是twitter等进入学生生活很多，突然间这些高中小孩被好几万人甚至更
多人关注。压力增加，也是early commit的原因。
4，因为commit早，所以用unofficial visit的多了，等着用5个official visit的少了
。所以周边几个州的招生变得越来越重要了。密大这样以前号称全国招生的，以后将越
来越依赖周边芝加哥地区和俄亥俄地区。从加州挖4星的几率下降了。
5，潜在影响...高中教练越来越重要了，估计高中教练的外快要增加了，booster有了
新的目标。给小孩钱也许不如给教练钱管用。有钱的学校占优势了。有个private jet
能不停的飞着访问小孩。 |

发帖数: 2682 | 48 他就是刚从马里兰DE-COMMIT的RIVALS四星OL JARED COHEN。OL是我狮2014 CLASS最缺
的位置，如能搞到他，我狮2014 CLASS堪称相当令人满意。详情如下：
JARED COHEN很早就说他希望离家近，只考虑3个学校，PSU/MARYLAND/DUKE。O'BRIEN和
JOHNSON去访问过这孩子，向他解释说，我狮受罚，奖学金很少，虽然喜欢你，但没办
法招你。于是COHEN在2月份就COMMIT到了马里兰。
大概就在10来天以前，我狮给COHEN发奖学金了。这孩子很有兴趣，给马里兰的教练打
电话，说想来我狮VISIT一下，但仍然STAY COMMITTED，他以前来过2次，对我狮不算陌
生。但MARYLAND比较TOUGH，说如果你去，你就不算COMMIT了。于是COHEN就说，那我就
DE-COMMIT吧。
由于现在处于DEAD PERIOD，一直到1月中旬才结束，所以COHEN基本确定在1月24号那个
周末来STATE COLLEGE。
我现在觉得我狮弄到这个四星孩子的可能性比较大。如能搞到，对OL这个极其缺人的位
置来说真是久旱甘露啊。 |

发帖数: 2682 | 49 FRANKLIN上任后，我狮连续获得3个COMMIT，加上前面COMMIT的球员尚无一人明确表示
DE-COMMIT，所以现在的总人数为22。按照RIVALS的排名，在BIG排第2，在全国排第16。
如果最终能保持这个位次，2014 CLASS可谓OUTSTANDING，在有SANCTION且中间又换教
练的情况下还能排到联盟第2，全国前20，着实让看衰我狮的人大跌眼镜。
后面还会有些变化，我估计会有2-3名已经COMMIT的孩子DE-COMMIT，包括大星星HOLLEY。 |
