但是作者什么的老是不太记得
有时候看到有的人可以一堆一堆地数出来,感觉好厉害啊!

但是作者什么的老是不太记得

这个问题问得好。专门对干细胞衰老的研究好像没有。因为干细胞的传统定义就是life
long maintenance.理想得被定义为永远具有更新能力。自然不具有衰老问题。
我也在琢磨这个问题,如果在病理状况下,比如我contituional activate某signal
pathway 来不停的激活qienscent stem cell,那他们会不会最终衰竭。再比如糖尿病的
创口不愈合是否就是由于干细胞的提早衰老导致?
不对称分裂的行为在干细胞里研究很多。如楼上所说,在低等生物里常见到
asymmetrical division. 以此来维持stem cell population的总数问题。但在
mammalian里,不对称和对称分裂都有。比如复层化前的上皮干细胞的不对称分裂就类
似与
drosophila的 germ cell。symmetrical也不少 好像satellite cell就是, 对称分裂在
群体水平上,有的give rise to two progenitor, 有的give rise to two stem cell.

Since you are female and this duplicated region localize on X chromosome.
Chance,if you only have one allele that's duplicated, could be that you have
another allele that's normal. Problem with most X-linked genes are they are
silenced on one X chromosome, in your case it could be the duplicated one
got silenced.But for your kid (son? since you mentioned Y chromosome), it is
hard to say. So if you concerned, you still need to counsel specialist.

physiological conditions.

ped file和map file分成以每个chromosome为单位的22个子文件吗?
另外分成22个后,如何产生merlin 需要的.dat file呢?谢谢!

今年3月份,lp经历了连续第二次自然流产,我们很着急,决定去医院好好查查原因。
医生给我们做了很多检查,包括给我和lp都抽血做了chromosome,之前医药版的xdjm也
有建议我们查一下这个,医生也建议查,我们当然做了。
可问题来了,上个月我收到一份账单,是查我的chromosome的费用,$833,保险一分钱
都不cover,(lp同样的检查费原价也是这个,但因为有保险,实际只交了几十块钱吧
)我想会不会是弄错了,就跟labcorp的人联系,他们帮我file了一个claim给保险公司
,结果是deny,他们的理由是这种检查有可能是作为research的用途,他们让我自己联
系保险公司。
我把情况详细汇报给了保险公司,期间他们还要了下医嘱的医生的姓名等信息,昨天收
到信,居然还是deny,原因是说it is unclea

Gleevec only works in Chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) with Philadelphia
chromosome, which is a specific chromosomal abnormality that causes most
cases of CML. I don't think that is what your father has though according
to your description. Hematologic cancer is very sophisticated medicine.
Accurate diagnosis based on molecular medicine is crucial, because we have
very effective ways to treat some disease, but little treatment for others.

it depends, which chromosome, which segments on that chromosome,
there should be studies about it, and you may want to check it online.
i think 5-10% is big, while it totally up to you, how old you are, how many
children you have, family situation, etc.
